 We, as citizens, affirm the constitutional values of the Indian Republic. This most diverse country, belongs equally to all persons who make it its own, regardless of their religious faith (or for that matter, their denial of faith), their gender, caste, class, language, physical abilities and sexual orientation. This is the promise we had made to ourselves during the independence movement. This is the meaning of Part IV--A of the Constitution of India that prescribes the fundamental duties of all Indian citizens: to respect 'the composite culture of India, to 'develop the scientific temper', 'spirit of reform' and 'critical enquiry' and to 'cherish the ideas that inspired the struggle for Indian Independence. 

As citizens, we are deeply concerned with the assault on the nation. All critical voices are being dubbed as anti-national. Instead of this belief in the Republic,  exclusions and intolerance is being propagated. This would lead to the unmaking of the Indian Republic. This is what we are witnessing: riots, polarisation; in the name of development, the theft of natural resources; attack on livelihoods and workers rights;  attack on minorities and Dalits. And worst of all, curbing of freedom, where people are told what to write, speak, love and eat. 

 It is this climate of intolerance that led to the lynching in Dadri of Mohammad Akhlaq and the assassination of the rationalists, Prof. Kalburgi, Dr. Narendra Dabholkar and Shri Govind Pansare. It is this same climate of intolerance that had led to Nathuram Godse's assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. 

 We, as Citizens, must stand together in Defense of the Republic.

Superstar Aamir Khan, who has ceased to be the mascot for the 'Incredible India' campaign after 10 years, today said he respects the government's decision to "discontinue" his services while making it clear that he never charged anything for the task.

Confirmed!Soon after the statement released by Union Minister of State for Culture & Tourism Dr. Mahesh Sharma confirming that Aamir Khan is no longer the brand ambassador of Incredible India, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has been chosen to be the new brand ambassador of Incredible India campaign by the government of India.

Media reports that the Bollywood megastar Big B has been finalized by the government of India for the respectable position, replacing Aamir Khan.

Reportedly, Amitabh has embraced the new responsibility saying he will work for state, country and social causes to his best.Mind you,Big B happened to be the brand ambassador of Gujarat also!

In America or in any developed country,the citizen enjoys sovereignty.Thus,anti war or anti imperialist movement roots in United States of America!They opposed the Vietnam War!They also opposed the oil war and they also oppose the Global order,zionism and war economy of ethnic cleansing as well as the American War against terror as US media expose CIA and White House for its decisions and policies as well as its rare creativity to produce elements of Arab Spring,Taliban,Al Qaeda and Isis.

India is reduced to become the periphery of US based multinational companies and India is now strategic partner in America`s war to protect US interest worldwide and it is all about Global Hindutva and the Agenda of Non Hindu FREE Hindu Nation India wherein every Indian citizen is under surveillance.

Maidul Islam, prominent Bengali writer and thinker and ex minister in Left Front government raised a most valid question in his write up published in Bengali Daily Ei Samay,in democracy,why the question of tolerance intolerance be so prominent?Why the citizen should have to bear the dominance of majority community and ultimately surrender to it?

Maidul wrote that nowhere Indian Constitution deals with this question rather it insists on equality and justice!For me,it is a vaild question as the constitution is supposed to have ensured fundamental rights!The question remains unanswered where the fundamental rights have gone?Human rights ?Civic rights? Constitutional provision?Safe guards?Directive principles and so on?

Is there rule of law ensured?

If it is rule of law and the governance is in accordance to the constitution,no community should be treated as majority and minority and the Law should have its way.

The reality is that we are stripped of fundamental rights!

The reality is that we are deprived of human and civic rights!

Superstar Aamir Khan, who has ceased to be the mascot for the 'Incredible India' campaign after 10 years, today said he respects the government's decision to "discontinue" his services while making it clear that he never charged anything for the task.

"It is the prerogative of the government to decide whether they need a brand ambassador for any campaign, and if so, who that ambassador should be.

"I respect the decision of the government to discontinue with my services. I am sure they will take all appropriate steps to do what is best for the country," Aamir said in a statement, a day after the Tourism Ministry said his contract for the campaign was over.

Aamir said it had been an "honour and a pleasure" for him to be the "Brand Ambassador for the Incredible India campaign for the past 10 years."

"I was happy to be of service to my country, and will always be available for it. I would like to clarify that all public service films I have done till date have all been free of any cost to me. "… Whether I am brand ambassador or not, India will remain Incredible, and that's the way it should be," he said.

While many see Aamir's removal as the face of 'Incredible India' a consequence of his comments on the intolerance issue, the tourism ministry yesterday said they had not hired the actor but had left it to an agency to do that.

"Our contract was with the McCann Worldwide agency for 'Atithi Devo Bhava' campaign. The agency had hired Aamir for the job. Now the contract with the agency is over. Ministry has not hired Aamir.

"It was the agency which has hired him. Since the contract with the agency is no more, automatically the arrangement with the actor no longer exists," Union Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma said.

Two months ago, at an event here, Aamir had said that his wife Kiran Rao had asked if they should move out of the country, as she feared for the safety of their children in a climate of insecurity.

[This text is based on the speech delivered by Sitaram Yechury, General Secretary of CPI(M)  at the valedictory function of the 83rd Sivagiri Pilgrimage Celebrations on January 1, 2016 at Kerala.]



It is, indeed, an honour to be here at Sivagiri. My heartfelt thanks for being invited to share some thoughts with all of you in the concluding session of the 83rd Sivagiri Pilgrimage celebrations. It is, indeed, a very new and an appropriate way to begin the new year. A Happy New Year to all of you.



I belong to a generation that grew up on the values propagated by Srinarayana Guru - `the oneness of humanity', with no social barriers on the grounds of caste, religion, region etc.  The slogan of `one caste, one religion, one god' is an elevated expression of humanism which recognizes the value of a human being  as being supreme. A value that recognizes all human beings as being equal, irrespective of all social divisions.  This universality of oneness of humanity, in a sense, crystallizes the finest elements of  rational thought and philosophy that emerged in the course of the advance of human civilization in these lands.  As "different rivers flow through different courses to merge in the ocean", so do different human beings through the practice of individual beliefs and faith eventually merge with humanity as a whole. This is humanism of the highest variety.



Such humanism has a strong resonance with the Communist philosophy and worldview.  The overriding concern of Marxism is humanism.  In fact, Karl Marx had once said, "Nothing human is alien to me".  It is the pursuit of the simple question of what constitutes the real freedom of a human being and his consequent liberation, Marx proceeded to reject the Hegelian idea of the revolution of the mind as articulated by Feuerbach, during his time, to come to a conclusion of seminal importance.  This was: consciousness of a human being is determined by the social conditions and not vice a versa. "It is not the consciousness of men that determines their being, but on the contrary their social being that determines their consciousness".



Marxism's focus on changing the concrete conditions of material existence, as the basic pre-requisite for human liberation, emerges from this understanding and hence Marx's own scientific study on the real living conditions of the people and his consequent dissection of capitalism.



It, indeed, sounds as a strange paradox that a practitioner of Marxism, a Communist foot soldier, a confirmed atheist has been invited to be here as a part of these pilgrimage celebrations.  A  great deal of controversy has always existed regarding the Marxist understanding of religion. The popular perception is the normally out of context quotation that "religion is the opium of the people". In fact, deliberately, the passage in which this statement finds place is never quoted in the full. Marx had stated :"Religious distress is at the same time the expression of real distress and the protest against real distress. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of the heartless world, just as it is the spirit of the spiritless situation. It is the opium of the people".



Religion, is the opium in the sense that it is as potent as opium in transporting human beings to an illusory world. For a human being who is oppressed, religion provides the escape for  relief, it provides  a "heart in a heartless world, a spirit in a spiritless situation." This is the strength and power of religion. It is like opium that the people are fed, to lull themselves into submission, robbing them of their inherent potential to change the real world, and hence, remain in conditions which appear outside of both their comprehension and control.



Marxism does not attack religion per se. It's attack is on the conditions that give rise to the conditions that perpetuate the hold of religion on the people.  The point is to change the real world; to  transform the comforts of an illusory world into concrete reality. Therefore, as a Communist, we can assure you that the CPI(M) will be the foremost upholder of every individual's right to his/her choice of their faith and their right to maintain their beliefs and propagate them.  We will defend,  till the last breath, this right of the individual choice and protect the faith of every individual. It, therefore, necessarily follows that we shall also protect everybody against any attempt to interfere into the rights of individual liberty of faith by any body of thought or action.  This is precisely what the communal forces attempt to do today.  The CPI(M)'s opposition to communalism is, hence, integral to both its philosophy and practice.



This growth of rabid communal polarization that we see around us today runs completely in contradiction with the body of thought and action that the Guru has bequeathed to us.   This rich legacy and the philosophical activities that the Guru undertook had heralded a movement for social renaissance in Kerala.  Remember, Swami Vivekananda had once described the Kerala society as a `mad house' of casteism.  The Guru, through his philosophy of oneness of humanity,  spread the indomitable values of equality and humanism.  Kerala was a society where caste prejudices went beyond even the obnoxious practice of untouchability. In Kerala, there was the practice of unseability. Comrade EMS Namboodiripad used to tell us that in his childhood, it was not unusual to see some `unfortunate' human beings carrying a bell around their neck whose sound would warn the  upper castes, to take a different path!



It was the social renaissance heralded by the Guru, amongst others, that has transformed this society into one with the most progressive values in the country today. In the process, Kerala society has achieved such advances in its human development indices that it matches and, in some cases, outstrips the standards existing in the developed capitalist countries today. In the field of literacy, education, gender equality and other social parameters, Kerala proudly stands at the top on the  rest of India.



The Guru used spirituality as a propelling force for upward social mobility of the people. In this process, he developed a unique combination of materialism and spiritualism, propagating The Buddha's preachings of the control over the Body, Word, Mind, Food and Deed.   The consecration of the Shiva Lingam in 1888 - the Aruvippuram Prathishta - remains a landmark that has gone way beyond being a symbolic gesture.



Yet another resonance with Marxist philosophy is the Guru's emphasis on "freedom through education, strength through organisation, economic independence through industry".  In a sense, this brings me to the point of urging all of you to explore further a thought: Spiritualism is  not to be confined within the boundaries of religion or religiosity.  Of course, there is religious spiritualism which could also be call Theistic spiritualism. On the other hand, there is also an Atheistic spiritualism. Here, spiritualism is understood as the elevation of human  consciousness to the levels of refined humanism.  Such elevation of human consciousness can be achieved as much by a materialist philosophy as it can be through a Theistic theology.  (This is a tautological term, but I am using it only to emphasise the point.)



The Guru's philosophy spread far and wide beyond the confines of Kerala. I am told that Mahatma Gandhi came here thrice during our freedom movement.  Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore came to meet the Guru in 1922. I do not know if this meeting influenced Tagore to pen the Nobel Prize winning immortal lines to awaken India: "Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high; Where knowledge is free; Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;".



The Guru's teachings and personal example appear to be not merely relevant but more necessary to meet the challenges before us today.  On the one hand, the material basis of  existence for the vast mass of our people and the country, as a consequence of embracing the neo-liberal policy trajectory by the Indian ruling classes, is deteriorating. Unless material needs are satisfied, the growth of spiritualism leading to social renaissance and, therefore, to cultural renaissance would be simply impossible.  The economic policies followed  by the current government at the Centre and, to a large extent, by the government in Kerala, only buttress such material regression of our people's lives.  These policies need to be resisted and reversed.  This is one focus of CPI(M)'s activities today.



On the other hand, the CPI(M)'s other focus is against the growing communal polarization and the vicious pursuit of consolidating the Hindutva  communal vote bank politics which is leading to severe ruptures in our society that can well destroy the unity and integrity of India.  Under the present Central government, both these aspects of anti-people economic reforms and communal polarization constitute its singular agenda.  In the process, the communal forces even make an attempt to forcibly appropriate the Guru's philosophy and legacy.



This, simply, cannot be allowed. Such efforts, in particular, have to be defeated in order to carry ourselves to higher levels of social and material existence as envisaged and propagated by the Guru.  The efforts to replace the  rich Indian history with Hindu theology and the evolution of the syncretic Indian philosophy with a monolithic Hindu theology will have to be resisted and defeated.



I wish the Srinarayana Guru Mutt all success in its efforts to relentlessly continue to propagate the Guru's philosophy  and vision of the `oneness of humanity' and not permit any effort at hijacking this rich legacy to serve the narrow ends of communal forces.

प्रतिबद्धता से बड़ा नहीं होता शोक

राबर्ट्सगंज से डा.शिवेंद्र लंबे अरसे से असुविधा का प्रकाशन करते रहे हैं।उनके साथी हैं अनवर सुहैल।दोनों लघुपत्रिका के प्रकाशन के अलावा अच्छे रचनाकार भी हैं।जिस जनपद से वे यह पत्रिका निकालते हैं,वह यूपी के सबसे पिछड़ा इलाका कहा जाये तो अतिशयक्ति नहीं होगी।झारखंड और छत्तीसगढ़,मध्यप्रदेश से घिरा यह जनपद और राज्यों की सीमाओं के आर पार तमाम जनपदों में जनजीवन बहुत मुश्किल है और मेहनकश जनता की वहां कहीं सुनवाई भी नहीं होती।भौगोलिक परिस्थितियां सामाजिक यथार्थ की तरह ही बेहद कठिन है।पथरीली पठारी माटी की वह महक अरावली से लेकर दंडकारण्य में समान है।लेकिन सर्वत्र तमाम असुविधाओं के मध्य जनपद की चीखों को दर्ज करने की प्रतिबद्ध सक्रियता नजर नहीं आती।

आज सुबह की डाक से अरसे बाद कोई लघुपत्रिका समकालीन तीसरी दुनिया और समयांतर को छोड़कर हमारे डेरे तक सही सलामत पहुंची तो हमने देखा,असुविधा है।

छिलका उतारकर पत्रिका पर नजर डाली तो शोकस्तब्ध होकर रह गया।शिवेंद्र जी के इकलौते बेटे अंशु के अकाल प्रयाण पर यह पत्रिका जीती जागती शोक गाथा है।शोकस्तब्ध पिता के विवेकसमृद्ध प्रतिबद्ध उद्गार का सामना करना चाहें तो अव्शय यह पत्रिका पढ़ लें।

इस अंक के साथ रचनात्मक सहयोग के लिए जो पत्र नत्थी है,वह सामकालीन मुक्त बाजारी उत्सवमुखर साहित्य परिदृश्य की निर्मम चीरफाड़ है।शिवेंद्र और अनवर सुहैल के संपादन और रचनाकर्म से वास्ता हमारा शुरु से रहा है।कभी कभार वहीं हम छपते भी रहे हैं और संवाद का सिलसिला टूटा भी नहीं है।फिरभी 2000 के पहले से हमने जो कविता कहानी वगैरह की रचनात्मकता छोड़ दी और डाक मार्फत चिट्ठी पत्री का सिलसिला बंद हो गया अमेरिका से सावधान अधूरा छोड़ने के बाद से,तब से एक लंबा अंतराल संबंधों के बीच टंगा है।

हमने बेहिचक शिवेंद्र जी को मोबािल पर काल किया तो वे धीर गंभीर स्थिरप्रज्ञ लग रहे थे और बेटे के बारे में बात करते हुए उनकी आवाज में हमने कोई कंपकंपाहट भी महसूस नहीं की।

अंशु करीब 37 साल की उम्र में लाइलाज बीमारी से चल बसे तो शोकस्तब्ध पिता के उद्गार तो निकले ही,लेकिन उसके बाद प्रतिबद्ध सक्रियता और सरोकार का जो उनका संकल्प है,वह जनपदों की विरासत है,जहां हमारे लोक और हमारी संस्कृति में सुख दुःख को समान मानकर सर्वजन हिताय जीवन का बुनियादी लक्ष्य हुआ करता रहा है।

अंशु के बच्चे अभी छोटे हैं और शिवेंद्र जी और उनकी पत्नी की उम्र पकड़ से बाहर है तो इसकी कोई दुश्चिंता उन्हे है ही नहीं।हमारी चिंताओं को दरकिनार करते हुए वे समकालीन परिदृश्य पर पर लातार बोलते रहे और कह दिया कि लड़ाई जारी है।

আবারও বর্গি আইছে দ্যাশে।বর্গি হইলে সবই পাইবে।মস্তানিওজুটিবে মিতরোঁ।আগুন জ্বালাও গ্রামে গন্জে।বাংলায় সুনামি লাগাও।তার পর যত চাই লাগাও।সবকিছু বেআইনি আইনি করার সংস্কারে সত্কারে স্বর্গবাস অনিবার্য।খাইবে হাগিবে নাচিবে কুদিবে জিবেত শতেক বছর।বাকি সব নিমিত্তমাত্র।মরিবেই মিতরোঁ।

পলাশ বিশ্বাস

মিতরোঁ,বাংলু খাইয়া থাকিও সুখে,ভুতের কিল হজম করিযা রহিও পরম আনন্দে,পাড়া পাড়ায় তরলবত তরল সুখের বন্যা বহাইছে মা জগতজননী।সেই মায়েরই ভক্ত আমি বুঝিলে না বাঙালি-বুঝিলে না কত ধানে কত চাল।বুঝাবুঝি বোঝা অতিশয় ভারি।তার চেয়ে ভালো কারণবারি। মড়ার খুলি চারিদিকে খোলার মুচি,ধর নিকুচি।মারো টান,বুঝিছি,দিনকাল ভালো আজকাল বোঝে নি বাঙালি।ঠিকমত দিল্লী দেখেনি,হাইকোর্ট যত না দেখেছে বাহাল,তাই মনে মনে কাবাঁকাঙাল।

মিতরোঁ,খাইবে মাছভাত,শুনবে মন কি বাত,পড়িবে আনন্দ,মনের সুখে খাইবে ।হাগিবে পরম আনন্দে।প্রথমাতেই সম্ভেগ অতি আবশ্যিক হোক না প্রাথমিক,দাঁড়াক বা না দাঁড়াক,পহলে সম্ভোগ,তারপর সমাধি।ধ্যানস্থ মুদ্রা থাকা চাই।মশলা চাই।মসলা নৈব নৈব চ।মুদ্দত বিত গই,মুদ্দা নেহি কোই।আচ্ছে দিন আ গয়ে।যুদ্ধ হয়নাি বহুকাল।হোক কুরুক্ষেত্র হোক।

মিতরোঁ,ধর্মযুদ্ধ যদিও চলিচে ভব্য রামমন্দির লাগিয়া বাবরি বিধ্ংস থেকে গুজরাত,সিখ সংহার থেকে ভুপাল গ্যাস ট্রাজেডি,শেক্সপিয়ারের কমেডি না হোক কমোড অথি (দক্ষিণী ডাবিঁ) স্বচ্ছল আরো আছে স্বচ্ছতা অভিযান।কিছু হোক না হোক,শৌচালয় হইয়াছে দুয়ারে দুয়ারে। ঘরে ঘরে সেলিব্রেটি,আইকন।মিতরোঁ,হাগিবে মনের সুখে।ঘরে বাইরে হাগিবে।চ্যানেলে হাগিবে।প্যানেলে হাগিবে।জাগিছে দেখিও বাঙালি।

জমুরে, ক্যামন খেল দেখাইলাম।সেই পেশওয়া বাজিরাওএর মস্তানিতে ভুলিলে আপাদমস্তক।ভাস্কর পন্ডিত ভুলিলে,ভুলিলে বর্গী এলো দ্যাশে,খাজনা দিবো কিসে।মস্তানি মাদক কুটির শিল্প।আসলে ইহাই শিল্পায়ন মা জগতজননীর কৃপা অশেষ।সঙ্গে হামি আছি বিরন্চি বাবা,টাইট্যানিক বাবা কিংবা রকেটবাবা কিংবা জাপানি তেল বাবা, ভিয়াগ্রা বড়ই কীমতি,গ্যাসের চেয়ে দামি,তেলের চেয়ে দামি।দাম বাড়তেছেই।যুদ্ধের প্রস্তুতি সারা।হিন্দুস্তান পাকিস্তানে ভুলিও আসল মুদ্দা।

মিতরোঁ,বিপ্লব ভুলিলে না তবু কাবাঁ বঙ্গীয় জনগণ সেকুলার সেকুলার প্রগতি প্রগতি মখে মুখে,হ্রদমাঝারে রেখেছে সেই রাম,আসলে আসলি বজরংবলি বাঙালি,কেহ বুঝিল না,বুঝেছি আমি মিতরোঁ,দোনো হাতোঁ মে লাজড্ডু দিতাছি,দিল্লির লাড্ডু সঙ্গে কোলকাতার রসগোল্লা,শুনছি নাকি রয়েছেন বিধানসভায়।যত চমকদার চেহারা,সবাই ন্যাতা।ফালতু জনতা লাগে কোন কাজে।যা সব ব্যাটা মায়ের ভোগে যা।গ্রোথ বোঝোনি,গ্রোথ হইল গিয়া অ্যাবনর্মাল গ্রোথ,মানে বুঝতাছো,মিতরোঁ।

মিতরোঁ,পোস্তোবাজ কুকুরেরা ঘেউ ঘেউ করে বড় বেশি।প্রস কানেক্সন কাটাইতে সেল্ফি নিদান দিয়াছি কবে,পুরস্কার ফেরত দেয়নাই কেহ,মিতরোঁ ব্রান্ড এম্বাসাডার পোস্ট লাখে লাখ হইতাছে খালি,করোড়ো মারকেটিং এজেন্ট চাহিয়ে,গ্রীন পুলিশ কোথায় লাগে,কি বালের চাকরি দিতাছে।পোস্টিং আচে ব্যাতন নাই।পে কমিশন আছে,ভাতা নাই।

মিতরোঁ,কিস্তিতে কত আর ক্যালাইবে আহা কি আনন্দ,করসেবাতে দিও মন সুজন সখি সহ রহিবে আনন্দে,যুদ্ধের দামামা বাজিল দেখ সীমান্তে।

মিতরোঁ,1962 তে কম্যুনিস্ট আন্দোলন ভাগ হল কিন্তু ভারত বাগের মত হিন্দুস্তান পাকিস্তান হয় নাই।ইন্দিরা স্পর্শ দোষও কাটিয়াছে।

রাজকার্যও কম হয় নাই।এবার বোধহয় কমরেড কংগ্রেস।তালে তলায় জগতজননীর কৃপায় গৌরিকায়ণের বৈদিকী আনন্দে কি দোষ,বোলো।

মিতরোঁ,1962 মনে পড়িবার নয়।সেই চিন এই চিন নয়।1965 কেউ কেউ অবশ্যই দেখিয়াচে৤কিন্তু 1971 ভুলিবার নয়।যুদ্ধ লাগলে পর কোন জিনিষ কত দামি,সাবসিডি আচে কি নাই,সে হিসাবে কাম নাই।লেপের তলে কে কাহার সঙ্গে ক্যামনে লড়তাছে,হফ্তায় কদিন খাট ভাঙ্গতাচে কি ভাঙ্গতাছে না,সেই হিসাব কিতাব বাদ দিয়া আইন সঙ্গত ভাবে লুটে নাও যা কিছু লুটিহবারে সাধ যায়।বর্গিরা ফিরিয়াছে।

মিতরোঁ,বেওকুফি মত করনা মিতরোঁ।বর্গি সেনাতে নাম লেখাও, ক্যামনে আমিরকে ল্যাং মারিনু দ্যাখো নাই,ক্যামনে বদল হইল ব্রান্ড অ্যামসেডার,দেখো নাই সখা।শারদা রোজ ভালী ভেলি গুড় শীতের ব্রান্ড ব্যান্ড সহকারে বারন্দায় রোদ্দুর। ইন্দুরেরও দিন ফিরতাছে।

মিতরোঁ,আছ্ছে দিন আইতাছে।দোলায় আগমন গজে গমন।শিয়রে শমন।সম্ভোগ সে সমাধি।জলেও নামিও।জলকেলি কম করিবে না।বেণী রহিবে য্যামন আছে।য্যামন বলি কা বকরা কেহ কেহ জেলে আছে,বাকিরা ষাঁড়ের মত শিং উঁচাইয়ারাজকার্য করতাছে,সিবিআঈ নোম্বা ছিঁড়তেও পারে নাই।সব বিপ্লব ক্যামনে ক্যালাইলো ক্যালানিতে।

মিতরোঁ,ড্রোন আছে।সেন্সর আছে।সিবিআই আছে।র রমরম আছে।এনআইএ আছে।আছে সিবিআই।মোসাদও আছে।মনে লয় নাকি, সর্ষে হইল তো ভুতও রহিয়াছে।ভূত যেমন আছে।ভুতের রাজাও আছে।আছে তিনবর।তিন বর জবর তিন বর।ধর্ষণ অবাধ।গুন্ডামি অবাধ।নৈরাজ্য অবাধ।লগ্নি আমদানি ধায়ে।আইন সঙ্গত হইতাছে বেআইনি সবকিছু। মানবিকতা নাগরিকতা সবই রাষ্ট্রদ্রোহ।সানি লিওন সহিষ্ণুতা মৌচাক।মধুচক্র ঘরে বাহিরে।নিরপত্তায় ধর্ষণ অবাধ শিশু শ্রম অবাধ।অবাধ মাদক।অবাধ পাচার।অবাধ সবৈদিকী সহিংসতা নরক।

অসহিষ্ণুতা যেমন আছে,ভোটব্যান্কও তেমনি বহাল তবিযত মিতরোঁ।ভোটের লাগিয়া আড়াআঢ়ি ধর্মোন্মাদি বিভাজন ভারত ভাগ বারম্বার সেমনিই আছে।শহীদের কাকে কাকে জানো ভাই,সব গ্যাছে মায়ের ভোগে।যারা মোচ্ছব করিয়াছে নরমাংসের উত্সবে।আজও

গণতন্ত্রের উত্সব তাহাদেরই সাজে।টিপু হিন্দুত্বের দুশমন।বাজিরাও মস্তানিতে হয়ত বা শিবাজিও দুশমন।শহীদ হইল গিয়া দুশমন আজ।

সুর্য্য সেন,খুদিরাম.যতীন দাস,ভগত সিং,নেতাজি ভোটে কি লাগে,দ্যাখো হাড়ির হাল শহীদ পরিবারে।গদ্দাররা তখন মজে সে থে,আজও সাড্ডা নাল মস্তি সে জিয়েঙ্গে।সিনেমা বেদখল।শুধু ডাবিং ফ্রেম টু প্রেম ডিটো।শিল্প সংস্কৃতি সাহিত্য সব লাগসই লাগানো। সাংহবাদিকতার গরু গাছে গাছে।মৌজ সে রহো।বজরঙ্গি চাহিয়ে।

फिलहाल हम गुलामी का फंडा तो़ड़ने में लगे हैं।

जैसी आशंका महात्मा ज्योतिबा फूल और गुरुचांद ठाकुर को थी कि आजादी के बाद मुकम्मल मनुस्मृति राज होगा,जैसा कि बाल गंगाधर तिलका का स्वराज पेशवा राज है और जैसे कि बाबासाहेब अंबेडकर के मुताबिक आजादी से ज्यादा जरुरी जाति उन्मूलन का लक्ष्य है,जाति उन्मूलन के बिना फिर हिंदू हिंदू राष्ट्र  है,आज का समामाजिक यथार्थ यही है।

हजारों सालों के दरम्यान,आर्यों,पठान मुगलो और अंग्रेजों के राज में भारत के आदिवासी दलित शूद्र आवाम ने कभी गुलामी मंजूर  नहीं की।

1757 के बाद से लगातार उनकी लड़ाई जारी रही है।

उन्होंने राजा रजवाड़ोें और जमींदारों,साहूकारों और महाजनों के खिलाफ ,पूंजी और बाजार के खिलाफ लगातार लड़ाई की है।

इस विरासत से बेखबर हम लोग हजारों साल की गुलामी की कथा बांचकरअंबेडकर एटीएम से आवाम का खून पसीना दुह रहे हैं जबकि हर अनैतिक,हर अधार्मिक,हर कुकृत्य, बलात्कार, नरसंहार और बेदखली को कानूनी और जायज बताने का लूटतंत्र विकास है।

हमारे पास वक्त है नहीं और न मुझे कोई छापता है।

इससे पहले भी तमाम आदरणीय लोगों ने आलेख मंगवाकर छापा नहीं है।

वैसे भी हम बहुजनों का कर्मफल कालजयी होता नहीं है।

मैं अब अपने मौज के लिए लिखता हूं।जनता की चीज जनता को वापस करता हूं।

किसी को कायदे की कोई चीज लगे तो वे जैसा चाहे उसका इस्तेमाल अपने विवेक के मुताबिक कर सकते हैं।जनहित में हमारी तरफ से हरी झंडी है।कामर्शियल हम कभी लिखते नहीं है और न उनके अगवाड़े पिछवाड़े इतना दम है कि हमें झेल सकें।

अलग से लेख भेजने में असमर्थ हूं क्योंकि हम कब तक जी पायेंगे इसका ठिकाना नहीं है और बहुत काम अभी बाकी है।

With the gradual dismantling of quantitative restrictions and tariff barriers, the peasantry in the poorer countries is facing rack and ruin. A whole range of farm commodities can be offered for trading by the technologically advanced Western countries at prices that would not cover farmers' costs in the poor continents. One reason is the neo-colonial edict: some are more equal than others; subsidies are out for farmers in India, Pakistan or Bangladesh, but not for those in the US, or in France.

But agrarian Midnapur and Jangal Mahal in Bengal have a different legacy of resistance to reject the Global Order,indiscriminate industrializaion,urbanisation and infrastructure.I am just drawing your attention to this humanscape of continuous resistance inherent.

or Example as Warren Hastings failed to quell the Chuar uprisings. The district administrator to Bankura wrote in his diary in 1787 that the Chuar revolt was so widespread and fierce that temporarily, the Company's rule had vanished from the district of Bankura. Finally in 1799 the Governor General, Wellesley crushed these uprisings by a pincer attack. An area near Salboni in Midnapore district, in whose mango grove many rebels were hung from trees by the British, is still known by local villagers as "the heath of the hanging upland", Phansi Dangar Math. Some years later under the leadership of Jagabandhu the paymaster or Bakshi (of the infantry of the Puri Raja), there was the well-known widespread Paik or retainer uprising in Orissa. In 1793 the Governor General Cornwallis initiated in the entire Presidency of Bengal a new form of Permanent Settlement of revenue to loyal landlords. This led to misfortunes for the toiling peasantry: in time they would protest against this as well.

I wanted to read out some relevant parts of my hindi diary on Lalgargh Operation,लालगढ़ रोजनामचा published in Akaar,अकार,edited by Giriraj Kishore the eminent gyanpeeth vijeta Gandhian writer.It was writen and published in 2009.But the viedo was interrupted by loadshedding without notice.

I opened the discussion with Lalgargh story while Shalboni mines blast created Janganer Samiti against police atrocities and Mamata Banerjee and her paribartan brigade openly supported it.

Just before Lalgarh operation,the equation changed and Mamata declared that she has no relations with Janganer saamiti,Mahto or Maoist.In fact,the center,the state and the leader of Nandigram and singur movement stood united against Lalgarh people in a suedden turnaround to brand Lagarh Maoist.

Kabir Suman tells the story in his famous Chhatradharer Gaan as Maoist leader Vikas claimed that the Maoist helped Singur and Nandigram movement to make it successful for the change!

I had to deal with the landscape and humanscape and the social realism of repression absence of rule of law,equality,justice and democracy itself in a geography excluded from mainstream and persecuted all on the name of growth and development.

It is defined as Maoist menace and the situation is beyond control this date.I have included TV interview of Arundhati Roy who explains the problem better but it could not be completed.

However,I would be attaching the video.You amy see it.On the other hand,you may also get the my hindi diary on Lalgargh Operation,लालगढ़ रोजनामचा published in Akaar.however i would read it some another day.

We have to address the problem and have to understand the differnt humanscape with its history and legacy as the Adivasi people never have been enslaved in history.Midnapur legacy or jangal mahal legacy is all about resistance.In my earlier videos on Chuar rebellion and Hijli I tried to trace the missing links of history,without understanding we might not include this humanscape in mainstream and I am afraid that the menace would continue!

It is all about the Mahad Movement,emergence of Dr.BR Ambedkar and his agenda of annihilation of caste and no one else but our expert,the grand son in law and IIT Kharagpur professor Anand teltumbde explains the real mission of Babasaheb.Ananad` s book on Mahad movement is on stalls and available for online purchase.It is very imprtant to understand the history,partition,freedom explaination.

Since Jangal Mahal,Midnapur ,Bankura and Purulia with Jharkhand,Bihar,UP,Orrissa,MP,Maharashtra tribal geography has always been in resistance mode and so the different people in this mixed humanscape,I focused on Hijli along with Midnapur legacy of freedom and resistance!

Thus,I talked about Hijli concentration camp and the history of freedom struggle in Jangal Mahal  and IIT Kharagpur!Which is related with the struggle of freedom by rural,indigenous,aborigin agrarian communities, Indian peasantry led by negroid Adivasi,untouchables and Non Arayan Shudras.This link is missing in the history written hitehrto.It is the history of the people,excluded,excommunicated,subjected to persecution,displacement,execution,repression and demonization.It is the real history of India!

फिलहाल हम गुलामी का फंडा तो़ड़ने में लगे हैं।

जैसी आशंका महात्मा ज्योतिबा फूल और गुरुचांद ठाकुर को थी कि आजादी के बाद मुकम्मल मनुस्मृति राज होगा,जैसा कि बाल गंगाधर तिलका का स्वराज पेशवा राज है और जैसे कि बाबासाहेब अंबेडकर के मुताबिक आजादी से ज्यादा जरुरी जाति उन्मूलन का लक्ष्य है,जाति उन्मूलन के बिना फिर हिंदू हिंदू राष्ट्र  है,आज का समामाजिक यथार्थ यही है।

हजारों सालों के दरम्यान,आर्यों,पठान मुगलो और अंग्रेजों के राज में भारत के आदिवासी दलित शूद्र आवाम ने कभी गुलामी मंजूर  नहीं की।

1757 के बाद से लगातार उनकी लड़ाई जारी रही है।

उन्होंने राजा रजवाड़ोें और जमींदारों,साहूकारों और महाजनों के खिलाफ ,पूंजी और बाजार के खिलाफ लगातार लड़ाई की है।

इस विरासत से बेखबर हम लोग हजारों साल की गुलामी की कथा बांचकरअंबेडकर एटीएम से आवाम का खून पसीना दुह रहे हैं जबकि हर अनैतिक,हर अधार्मिक,हर कुकृत्य, बलात्कार, नरसंहार और बेदखली को कानूनी और जायज बताने का लूटतंत्र विकास है।

हमारे पास वक्त है नहीं और न मुझे कोई छापता है।

इससे पहले भी तमाम आदरणीय लोगों ने आलेख मंगवाकर छापा नहीं है।

वैसे भी हम बहुजनों का कर्मफल कालजयी होता नहीं है।

मैं अब अपने मौज के लिए लिखता हूं।जनता की चीज जनता को वापस करता हूं।

किसी को कायदे की कोई चीज लगे तो वे जैसा चाहे उसका इस्तेमाल अपने विवेक के मुताबिक कर सकते हैं।जनहित में हमारी तरफ से हरी झंडी है।कामर्शियल हम कभी लिखते नहीं है और न उनके अगवाड़े पिछवाड़े इतना दम है कि हमें झेल सकें।

अलग से लेख भेजने में असमर्थ हूं क्योंकि हम कब तक जी पायेंगे इसका ठिकाना नहीं है और बहुत काम अभी बाकी है।

Millions of farmers in Latin America, Africa and south Asia are, at present, direct victims of the wondrous regime set up by the WTO and world order sustained by governments worldwide led by ruling hegemony of ruling dynasties in desguise of democracy and their agenicies all on name of growth,development and humanitarian cause and projected mass movement . With the gradual dismantling of quantitative restrictions and tariff barriers, the peasantry in the poorer countries is facing rack and ruin. A whole range of farm commodities can be offered for trading by the technologically advanced Western countries at prices that would not cover farmers' costs in the poor continents. One reason is the neo-colonial edict: some are more equal than others; subsidies are out for farmers in India, Pakistan or Bangladesh, but not for those in the US, or in France.

But agrarian Midnapur and Jangal Mahal in Bengal have a different legacy of resistance to reject the Global Order,indiscriminate industrializaion,urbanisation and infrastructure.I am just drawing your attention to this humanscape of continuous resistance inherent.

The district administrator to Bankura wrote in his diary in 1787 that the Chuar revolt was so widespread and fierce that temporarily, the Company's rule had vanished from the district of Bankura. Finally in 1799 the Governor General, Wellesley crushed these uprisings by a pincer attack. An area near Salboni in Midnapore district, in whose mango grove many rebels were hung from trees by the British, is still known by local villagers as "the heath of the hanging upland", Phansi Dangar Math. Strong economic growth in states is "imperative" for pushing up the country's GDP and giving it a "cutting edge" to fight poverty and generate jobs, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said on Friday.

He also said that additional growth has to come from eastern states like West Bengal where industrialisation had suffered because of the policies followed in the last 35 years. "In a global situation which is so adverse, India's GDP growth is 7.5%. Is it difficult to add 1% more which will give us that cutting edge to fight poverty and generate jobs?" Jaitley said at the second edition of Bengal Global Business Meet in kolkata.

"Given the structure of India's federal polity, it is imperative that the states grow as well. Despite political differences, strong states mean a stronger India. West Bengal contributes nearly 6 to 7% of national GDP. Given the fact that growth of the eastern states was lower than those of the western states, the additional growth will have to come from the former," he said.

Referring to West Bengal, he said industrialisation in the state had suffered due to policies pursued in the last three and half decades.

"Summits of these kinds held every year clearly demonstrate the intention that the need of the hour is to generate growth, increase revenue and fight poverty for which investments are required. It is in this context that West Bengal that has lost its glory of the past could be restored and I assure you that the Centre will give all its support to the state's endeavour to attract investments," Jaitley said.

If Bengal followed such a policy, it would be able to generate jobs and revenue needed to fight poverty, else would have to fall back on shallow political slogans, he said. 

Jaitley said investors anxiously look forward to an environment to see their investments yield results. "If you are not in a position to attract that, then investments will dry up," he cautioned. Nationally, the services sector has improved, while greenshoots are visible in manufacturing, he said.

"Our priority will be to enhance public expenditure in infrastructure, social infrastructure, enhance expenditure on the rural sector," he added.

Jaitley said the Centre had been following a policy to economically empower the states for which it had readily agreed to the recommendations of the 14th Finance Commission. "West Bengal Finance Minister Amit Mitra is regularly in touch with us and all issues are cleared expeditiously despite political differences," he said.

Jaitley, who attended the summit second time in a row, shared the dais with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The summit was also attended, among others, by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, UK Employment Minister Priti Patel, Bhutan Tshering Togbay, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Mohan Das Pai, Subhas Chandra Sajjan Jindal and others. 

It also says that the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has accordingly held that the notification no 01/66/2015/DOV/15274 dated 22/12/2015 issued by the Directorate of Vigilance, Government of NCT of Delhi is unconstitutional, illegal and therefore has no legal effect."

On Tuesday, pursuing his complaint, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley appeared in a Delhi court and said Arvind Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders have made "false and defamatory" statements and rejected the charge that he had siphoned out money from Delhi's cricket body DDCA for his own benefit.

Recording his statement before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Sanjay Khanagwal in a 70-minute deposition, Jaitley, an eminent lawyer himself, dismissed all the allegations and said he had not received any money from anybody during his tenure as President of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).

Jaitley had on December 21 filed the criminal defamation case against Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders for allegedly defaming him and sought their prosecution for offences that entail a punishment of up to two years in jail.

Thus,Police reduces security cover for 40 Bollywood celebrities after a regular a security audit. Security of Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan has been reduced to only two armed constables, who will shadow the actors. Both, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan had spoken out against intolerance in the country, recently.

Police confirmed they were providing security to around 40 bollywood celebrities. Howevere, the numbers have now reduced to 15 personalities who have genuine threats to their lives.

According to Police manpower is wasted to provide security to Bollywood personalities and at times it is unwarranted. Security of 25 Bollywood personalities has been completely withdrawn which includes Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, Farah Khan, Karim Morani and Ali Morani. Morani's were given security in August 2014, when members of the Ravi Pujari gang had opened fire at Ali Morani's house.

Nevertheless,Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan coninue to enjoy the same level of security as before after a review of the protection cover, the police said in Mumbai today.

"Review of security is a routine exercise. Security of any specific actor has not been downgraded or increased," said DCP (detection) Dhananjay Kulkarni. 'SRK, Aamir enjoy same security cover'.

Aamir meanwhile welcomed any move to scale down his security saying "the police personnel can be put to better use in securing the city."

Shah Rukh and Aamir were provided additional security in the wake of their comments on perceived intolerance in the country. According to police, Shah Rukh started getting threats after the release of his film "My Name is Khan".

In January 2013, some groups had made statements after the Pakistan-based terrorist Hafiz Saeed's offer of asylum for the actor in Pakistan if he felt insecure in India.

At a Parliamentary Standing Committee meeting on Friday in which members sought an explanation from the Tourism Secretary for replacing actor Aamir Khan with Amitabh Bachchan as the brand ambassador of the Incredible India campaign, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari is learnt to have called Khan a "traitor".

According to a source, Tiwari, also a popular Bhojpuri singer, said: "Aamir Khan is a traitor, he should be thrown out." This led to protests from other members at the meeting of the Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture.

When contacted, Tiwari, the Lok Sabha MP from Northeast Delhi, told The Indian Express: "I cannot comment on what happened because what transpired in the committee meeting is confidential."

At the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards in November last year, Khan had said, "There is a sense of fear more than there was earlier. I do feel there is a sense of insecurity… For the first time, she (wife Kiran) said, should we move out of India?… She fears for her child… That does indicate that there is a sense of growing disquiet… growing sense of despondency."

According to sources, members of the Congress and the CPM were agitated over Tourism Secretary Vinod Zutshi's refusal to provide details of the government's decision to replace Khan with Bachchan. Though the issue of the campaign's brand ambassador was not on the agenda of the meeting, the chairman of the committee and Rajya Sabha MP K D Singh mentioned media reports and said it would be appreciated if Zutshi, who appeared before the panel Friday, could furnish details.

When the discussions started, Congress MP Kumari Selja referred to the media reports and said that MPs would like details. However, Zutshi said he did not have the details as the matter was not on the agenda. CPM's Ritabrata Banerjee then referred to Khan's claim that he had done the campaign free of cost, and said the government must clarify whether his replacement would take money and, if so, how much.

Congress MP K C Venugopal also pointed out that MPs have the privilege to know the details of the nature of the contract. The members also asked if it was true that Bachchan had been appointed as the new face of the campaign.

As reported by The Indian Express on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also learnt to have sought a report from the tourism ministry on the issue.

As the MPs insisted on getting details, Tiwari called Khan a traitor, said the source. Opposition MPs objected to the remark and said they were nobody to decide who is a patriot and who is a traitor. MP Shatrughan Sinha, a former actor, was also present at the meeting but he maintained silence, sources said.

When contacted by The Indian Express, Venugopal and Banerjee declined to comment. As Opposition MPs refused to relent and insisted on the details, Zutshi was asked to provide details to the committee within 10 days.

MoS for Tourism Mahesh Sharma has so far maintained that Khan was not dropped as brand ambassador, but the contract with advertising agency McCann Worldgroup for the campaign had expired.

Confirming the development Thursday, Khan had said, "I respect the decision of the government to discontinue with my services… I was happy to be of service to my country, and will always be available for it."

"There is a political party (read CPI(M)) which ruled Bengal for 34 years and totally ruined the state. The other party (read Trinamul Congress) which has come to power is still trying to find its way. There is a third party (read Congress) which ruled the Centre and completely halted the development of the country," Mr Jaitley added.

The senior BJP leader was in the city on the invitation of chief minister Mamata Banerjee to attend the Bengal Global Business Summit. After delivering his speech at the summit, Mr Jaitley drove down to the North Kolkata venue where the BJP state committee meeting was being held.

Mr Jaitley then went onto hint at an electoral adjustment between the CPI(M) and Congress. "Those who ruined the country and those who ruined the state are now sending come hither messages to each other," he said, again without naming the political parties, but leaving no one in doubt about their identities. Asking state party leaders to strengthen the party organisation in the state, he made it clear that the BJP would not enter into any alliance with any party for the Assembly election. Reacting sharply to his statement, CPI(M) MP Mohammad Salim said it confirmed his party's suspicion that there was a tacit understanding between the BJP and Trinamul Congress.

"We have always maintained that Mr Modi and Ms Mamata are hand in gloves. TMC and BJP are natural allies," he added.
