For the first time we see such stories in Indian media and I would compliment #rajkamaljha and #Indianexpress for carrying them on this#independenceday when we are thumping our chest for 68 years of democracy. It shows how the nation, its democracy, its political movements and those who claim to lead them have failed the people all the way. How some time, individuals are becoming larger than the issues and leaving them at will. Is it not surprising and shocking how for Rs 400/- widow pension a woman has to sit on Dharana for 20 years. Is the government listening ? Hope this stories will somewhere prick our conscience particularly those who are in power and decision making bodies ? Let these reporters and all others who know this now follow these stories. I would be definitely interested to see what's the outcome of these. Can we shame our political class, our bureaucrats for their inaction ? We should not bother too much on blame game ? Lets us ask questions as when will they resolve this crisis of our democracy and provide justice to all.
