Violent clashes in Kulgam, Beacon vehicle torched : KULGAM, JUNE 23: The protesters torched a vehicle of Beacon near Wanpoh in Khudwani area of Kulgam, even as police resorted to aerial firing to quell the protests. . Many other vehicles have been damaged in violent protests that have been going on the area since yesterday over the killing of a civilian in firing by government forces. Amid a complete shutdown, angry youth took to streets and hurled rocks at the forces who responded with aerial firing and tear smoke shells.  show less
