I always pointed out that without raising voice to protect the nature and natural resources,you may not stand with the suffering and toiling masses.Grass exactly did it and addressed the social realism in Bengal as much as true that the Bengali intelligentsia never dared to. For me Grass is more a Bengali writer than any Bengali writer. Palash Biswas
