Veterans Today website posted a report, prepared by Gordon Duff and Jeff Smith, on the bomb which fell on Naqm mountain in Yemen last week.

A video received from Yemen, believed to be taken May 20, 2015, of an explosion, when analyzed by nuclear weapons experts is, by very high probability, a neutron bomb that could only have been an Israeli attack. The analysis:

A. Its not a conventional 2k lb bomb. It's much bigger.

B. Its either a very large MOAB bigger than 4,000 lbs. or; ???? Max weight for an F-15 / 16 is about 2,000 lb payload per bomb rack making the deployment of a MOAB impossible.

C. Its appears to be a small neutron bomb. The size, color, lightning effect and duration of the fire ball being suspended in mid air and the very large mushroom cloud is the main give away. The CCD cameras imaging device was "scintillating" (detecting Neutrons) That is the white pixel flashes in the video. When the photo has white pixel flashes in it, that is because it is being hit by neutrons from the nuclear fireball blast. It overloads the ccd's electronic circuit producing white flashes.

If the radiation is too high it will burn out the chip. They have big problems with this in Japan with the Fukushima robots cameras failing due to very high radiation counts.

D. Delivery is most likely by an IDF F-16 with a Saudi paint job on the plane. They are not even hiding their use anymore, they just don't publicly admit it and the IAEA does nothing or says nothing. That is the true war crime. The UN just ignores it unless the US, France or GB complains…….. Russia and China say nothing.

E. This is now the second known use of nukes in Yemen by Saudi Arabia…………..


Post Script:

A. The range of the camera is calculated to be about 4 to 5 miles from ground zero based on shock wave timing.

B.Saudi has no F-16's. The aircraft reported to be used to droop the bomb in Yemen were F-16's. Photos and acoustic signature confirms that the jet engines noise is from a single engine jet fighter of the F-16 type.

NOTE:  This exact same story has been all over the internet, and the video on YouTube is telling, but I have not found any independent verification of it.  So, my advice is to take it with a small grain of salt until more information about this is published. Israel has used similar weapons in Gaza and Lebanon, so it is probable that the Israelis indeed used some kind of radioactive weapon as seen here.

शत प्रतिशत हिंदुत्व के गोरेपन का यह कारोबार ब्रांडिग पर निर्भर है और बाजार की सारी ताकतें ब्रांडिंग में लगी हैं।जिन्हें दमभर घोटाला करने का मौका मिल रहा है,जो दुनियाभर में हिंदुत्व राजकाज के प्रायोजक संयोजक पुरोहित वगैरह वगैरह हैं,वे तमाम लोग वधस्थल की रस्म अदायगी का आंखों देखा हाल बताते हुए ले चौका ,ले छक्का के चियारिन अंदाज में बल्ले बल्ले हैं कि लोग मारे जा रहे हैं और मारे जाने के लिए मुंडी चियारे कतारबद्ध है,कारपोरेट केसरिया राज के अच्छे दिन हैं कि काले बहुजनों ने आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया है और गोरा सवर्ण सत्तावर्ग में शामिल होने के लिए रंगभेदी मनुसमृति की वैदिकी हिंसा बिना प्रतिरोध कबूल कर ली है।


ब्रांडिग का कमाल है कि आप हत्याएं करके ,नरसंहार करके और मनुष्यता के खिलाफ हरसंभव अपराध करके विकास की अनिवार्य शर्त और नरसंहार संस्कृति को ही विकास का माडल बनाकर मनुष्यता और प्रकृति के साथ निरंतर बलात्कार के बावजूद विशुद्ध याज्ञाधिपति हैं और सारा राजसूय आपके लिए।समय नही लिख रहा आपका अपराध और आपके तानाशाह राष्ट्रद्रोह के खिलाफ कही कोई आवाज नहीं है और आपमें समाहित है समूचा लोकतंत्र, कार्यपालिका, विधायिका और न्यापालिका के साथ साथ चौथा स्तंभ का दावा करने वाला मीडिया भी।


सोलह मई के बाद और उससे पहले हिंदुत्व की ब्रांडिंग की विकास दर आसमान चूमने लगी हैं और इसके मुकाबले मंहगाई,मुद्रास्फीति,उत्पादन,बजटघाटा,गरीबी ,बेरोजगारी सबकुछ शून्य है।

काला झंडा और काला टीका,काली पट्टी को मानदंड मानें तो काला अशुभ है जबकि अश्वेतों की दुनिया में काला से ज्यादी शुभ कोई चीज नहीं है।जमीन भी वही सबसे उपजाऊ जो काली होती है।


कंगना रनावत गजब की अभिनेत्री हैं।मैं प्रियंका चोपड़ा और इस हिमाचली लड़की के लिए दुःखी हूं कि इन्हें स्मिता और शबाना की तरह वैसे निर्देशक नहीं मिले जो उन्हें निखार दें।


कंगना ने फिल्म गैंगस्टार और फैशन में ध्यान खींचा तो क्वीन के लिए वह राष्ट्र की सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेत्री हैं।अभी अभी तनु के दूसरे अवतार में वह लाजबाव है।


बालूीवूड ने तो शुरु से ही अभिनेत्रियां एक से बढ़कर एक दी हैं लेकिन कंगना की खास चर्चा इसलिए कि गोरा बनाने के बाजार के खिलाफ उसने दो करोड़ का विज्ञापन ठुकरा दिया।वह परदे से बाहर कुछ गोरा बनने की कोशिश करती हुई कभी नजर नहीं आयी।


कंगना की दलील मुझे लाजवाब लगी।उसका कहना है कि चूंकि उसकी बहन गोरी नहीं है तो गोरा बनाने के कारोबार में शामिल होकर वह अपनी बहन का अपमान नहीं कर सकती।फिर उनकी यह दलील कि अपनी बहन के सांवले पन का अपमान नहीं कर सकती तो इस देश की तमाम सांवली सुंदरियों का अपमान वह कैसे कर सकती हैं।


पूर्वी बंगाल के शरणार्थी गोरी लड़कियों की बजाय काली और सांवली लड़कियों को ज्यादा सुंदर मानते रहे हैं।हमारी नानी और दादी के किस्सों की तमाम सुंदरियां काली या सांवली हैं।कास्मेटिक कल्चर और सौंदर्यबाजार सजने से पहले गोरा बनाने की यह फर्जी आपाधापी नहीं थी कभी।


गोरा बनाने का यह उद्दोग दरअसल ब्रांडिग है और श्वेत वर्चस्व की दुनिया में दाखिले का पारपत्र है,जिसके लिए दुनियाभर के काले रंगभेद के इस अजब गजब सौंदर्यशास्त्र के तहत काले  रंग को ही अशुभ मानने लगे हैं।


हमने गोरों की सवर्ण दुनिया में अबनी माताओं,बहनों और बेटियों के कालेरंग को अशुभ मानना शुरु कर दिया है  तो गोरेपन के इस झूठ और फर्जीवाड़े का कारोबार सबसे तेज मुनाफावसूली का सिलसिला है।


आज सुबह आठे बजे से पहले सविता बाबू ने धकियाकर नीद तोड़ दी बोलीं,तुरंत पीसी पर बैठ जाओ कि बिजली दस बजे चली जायेगी और फिर रात को आयेगी।

हफ्ते भर से यही हो रहा है।बिजली का निजीकरण हो गया है।और बिजली वालों की मर्जी जब चाहे बिजली गिराये या फिर न गिराये।


अब कलम से तो लिखते हैं नहीं,कि अंधेरे और आंधी पानी  की परवाह न करें और जब चाहे तब लिखे या पढ़ें।बहुत दिन हुए कलम का इस्तेमाल किये।हस्ताक्षर भी इन दिनों डिजिटल है।बिजली न हो तो बिजली का इंतजार।बिजली जैसे महबूबा हो,जो मंदिर जाने के बहाने आती हो और आते न आते कहती हो,अच्छा तो मैं चलती हूं।


इसी वजह से धायं धायंं आखर दागने के बाद मुढ़कर पढ़ भी नहीं पाते कि गलतियां सुधार लें।लिखते न लिखते तुरंते पोस्ट।


डिजिटल देश में सबकुछ बायोमैट्रिक है।नतीजा यह गैस सब्सिडी डिजिटल और बैंकिंग भी डिजिटल।मिले न मिले किसी की जवाबदेही नहीं।


गैस की बुकिंग हो रही है।गैस आ नहीं रही है।एजंसी तो शिकायत करो तो कहेंगे डिजिटल है और गैस आने की सूचना देने के बाद बुकिंग कैंसिल और नये सिरे से बुकिंग कीजिये और फिर इंतजार।


शिकायतें और जनसुनवाई भी डिजिटल।चाहे तो सीधे पीएमओ को शिकायत दर्ज करा दें या चाहें तो सीधे सुप्रीम कोर्ट को संबोधित पीटिशन दाग दें,सुनवाई लेकिन होगी नहीं।

For it was not only paid for, but they got a U.S.$2,300/month for accommodation and car allowance. 8. If a Libyan bought a car, the government used to subsidize 50 percent of the price. 9. The price of petrol in Libya was $0.14 per liter. 10. Libya had no external debt and its reserves amounted to $150 billion -which are now frozen globally. 11. If a Libyan was unable to get employment after graduation, the state would pay the average salary of the profession, as if he or she was employed, until employment was found. 12. A portion of every Libyan oil sale was credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens. 13. A mother who gave birth to a child received U.S. $5,000. 14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya used to cost $0.15. 15. 25 percent of Libyans have a university degree. 16. Gaddafi carried out the world's largest irrigation project, known as the Great Manmade River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country.

For 40 years, or was it longer, I can't remember, I did all I could to give people houses, hospitals, schools, and when they were hungry, I gave them food. I even made Benghazi into farmland from the desert, I stood up to attacks from that cowboy Ronald Reagan, when he killed my adopted orphaned daughter, he was trying to kill me, instead he killed that poor innocent child. Then I helped my brothers and sisters from Africa with money for the African Union.

I did all I could to help people Understand the concept of real democracy, where people's committees ran our country. But that was never enough, as some told me, even people who had 10 room homes, new suits and furniture, were never satisfied, as selfish as they were they wanted more. They told Americans and other visitors, that they needed "democracy" and "freedom" never realizing it was a cut throat system, where the biggest dog eats the rest, but they were enchanted with those words, never realizing that in America, there was no free medicine, no free hospitals, no free housing, no free education and no free food, except when people had to beg or go to long lines to get soup.

No, no matter what I did, it was never enough for some, but for others, they knew I was the son of Gamal Abdel Nasser, the only true Arab and Muslim leader we've had since Salah-al-Deen, when he claimed the Suez Canal for his people, as I claimed Libya, for my people, it was his footsteps I tried to follow, to keep my people free from colonial domination - from thieves who would steal from us.

Now, I am under attack by the biggest force in military history, my little African son, Obama wants to kill me, to take away the freedom of our country, to take away our free housing, our free medicine, our free education, our free food, and replace it with American style thievery, called "capitalism" ,but all of us in the Third World know what that means, it means corporations run the countries, run the world, and the people suffer.

So, there is no alternative for me, I must make my stand, and if Allah wishes, I shall die by following His path, the path that has made our country rich with farmland, with food and health, and even allowed us to help our African and Arab brothers and sisters.

I do not wish to die, but if it comes to that, to save this land, my people, all the thousands who are all my children, then so be it.

Let this testament be my voice to the world, that I stood up to crusader attacks of NATO, stood up to cruelty, stoop up to betrayal, stood up to the West and its colonialist ambitions, and that I stood with my African brothers, my true Arab and Muslim brothers, as a beacon of light.

When others were building castles, I lived in a modest house, and in a tent. I never forgot my youth in Sirte, I did not spend our national treasury foolishly, and like Salah-al-Deen, our great Muslim leader, who rescued Jerusalem for Islam, I took little for myself...

In the West, some have called me "mad", "crazy", but they know the truth yet continue to lie, they know that our land is independent and free, not in the colonial grip, that my vision, my path, is, and has been clear and for my people and that I will fight to my last breath to keep us free, may Allah almighty help us to remain faithful and free.

Almost 10 percent of recently inspected containers holding contaminated water at the nuclear plant in northeast Japan were found to be leaking radioactive water. The leakages, discovered during inspections by Tokyo Electric Power Co (Tepco), the operators of the plant, were thought to be caused by a build-up of hydrogen and other gases due to radiation contamination.

Britain sends biggest warship for NATO drills on Russian border | 24 May 2015 | Britain is ramping up its military rhetoric, sending its biggest warship for NATO drills in the Baltic, right off the Russian coast, in this latest show of force. The drills ['Baltops 15'] kick off on June 5 and will last for two weeks. The helicopter carrier HMS Ocean is expected to reach Russia's city of Kaliningrad sometime this week, carrying aboard about 80 Royal Marines who are to join other NATO troops in Poland, the SundayTimes reports. The international fleet of vessels to take part in the games will include close to 50 warships and submarines, some of which will assemble as close as 50 miles to the Russian border, in the Gulf of Gdansk. Some other weapons featured in the games will be American B-52 nuclear bombers, which have stood for decades more as a symbol of Cold War readiness than anything else.
 
2 civilians, including 12yo killed by Ukrainian army shell in Donbass - reports | 26 May 2015 | Two civilians, including a child, have reportedly been killed in eastern Ukraine after a shell fired by the [US-backed] Ukrainian military hit a residential area. The shell hit five people in the town of Gorlovka, killing a man and a 12-year old girl, senior rebel commander Eduard Basurin told Russia's Rossiya24 channel. However, according to the Emergencies Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, the victims were a man and an 11-year-old boy.

Maj Gen Tim Cross echoed comments by the US defence secretary that successive gains by Isis [I-CIA-SIS] militants in the region were because the Iraqi army did not have the "will to fight". Speaking to the BBC's Today programme, Cross said: "It's interesting that the secretary used that [will to fight] expression because we use that expression in the British army and our argument is that it's about a moral cohesion in your army."

In fact, they vastly outnumbered the opposing force, and yet they failed to fight, they withdrew from the site, and that says to me, and I think to most of us, that we have an issue with the will of the Iraqis to fight ISIL and defend themselves."

Japan's ground self-defence force -- its army -- will send 40 personnel to participate in Talisman Sabre, a two-yearly drill that begins on 7 July, which will involve about 27,000 service men and women, a Japanese government spokesman said. "We will participate in joint exercises with the US marines, rather than operating directly with the Australian military," he said.
 
Heads up! Canadian NORAD region to conduct Arctic exercise | 25 May 2015 | The Canadian NORAD Region will lead an exercise that will see Canadian and American military personnel and aircraft deploying to various locations in the North and High Arctic to train in aerospace detection and defence. The exercise starts today and ends June 1. Exercise AMALGAM DART [?!?] will involve approximately 300 military personnel and 15 aircraft staging air operations from Alaska, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut to confirm integration procedures of NORAD's bi-national force and benefit from realistic training scenarios in the North and High Arctic, according to the Canadian Forces news release.

Abbott said the damage caused by flash floods in central Texas was "absolutely devastating" and had been caused by "relentless, tsunami-type power". Tuesday, May 26, 2015 Aanganwadi workers union staged a fierce protest against the state government in Shimla today. Supporting the ongoing one month long strike of the Aanganwadi workers , union activists broke the section 144 and offered arrests. The protesting women reached the reporting room and raised slogans against the government protesting against it's indifferent attitude towards the demands of aanganwadi workers regarding the payscale and other promises to the workers. The protest continued for more than one hour after which the police arrested the protesters . In Haryana and Punjab the Aanganwadi workers get merely  Rs 7500 per month and the helpers, Rs 4000 . Union secretary Nirmala Chauhan said that Aanganwadi workers recieve  pensions in states like Maharashtra , Karnataka and Kerala. In the year 2005 , the central government ordered pension for the Aanganwadi workers but state government didn't bother to implement it. Workers are determined to extend their demonstrations to block level by the month of June if the government does not agree to their demands. Addressing the protesters at Mal road , vice president of Aanganwadi workers and helpers union Rajkumar said that the workers and helpers are on hunger strike since one month , but the government didn't even bother to hold talks with them. Cases have been registered against the demonstrators and they have been released on  bail.

NAPM Writes to Joint Parliamentary Committee for Extension of Date to Receive Comments on Land Bill 2015 and Hold Country Wide Public Hearings

 

NAPM to Make Comprehensive Submission to the Committee Suggesting Changes to Strengthen Land Act in Favour of Farmers & Workers

 

New Delhi, July 27 : Responding to the newspaper advertisements on May 24thinviting submissions from the public at large on "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Second Amendment Bill, 2015), NAPM, an alliance of 250 plus people's movements from across the country led by Medha Patkar has asked for extending the time for receiving inputs from public.

 

In a letter addressed to Shri S S Ahluwalia, Chairperson, of the Committee, they said, "after the consistent pressure and opposition, the NDA government has referred the land bill to the Joint Parliamentary Committee but a two week notice to make submissions is extremely insufficient for many groups and mass organisations to give detail inputs and bring out their comments". They have demanded that the Committee extend the time line atleast by a month, till July 8th. The letter has also been sent to all the members of the Committee as well as to the Minister of Rural Development, Shri Birender Singh

 

In addition, they also suggested to the Committee to reach out to the farmers and workers of this country and hold wider consultations, public meetings and public hearings on the Bill, especially where local communities have been affected by past or present experiences of land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement,like in Kalinga Nagar and Dhinkia to Narmada, Sompetta, Raigarh, Madurai, Mundra, Kanhar, Bhatta Parsaul, Jashpur, Dholera, and many others.

 

NAPM has joined hands with many other farmers – workers groups, left affiliated Kisan Sabhas and Khet Mazdoor Unions to form Bhumi Adhikaar Andolan and is in process of mobilising farmers and workers opposing forcible acquisitions and will suggest changes to the 2015 Bill and also to 2013 Act to make bring in more progressive provisions, like extending the consent provisions to the government projects or Social Impact Assessment for irrigation projects amongst others. Bhumi Adhikaar Andolan organised massive demonstrations on February 24th and May 5th at Sansad Marg and has vowed to oppose corporate led changes to the 2013 Act.

With reference to newspaper advertisements on May 24th inviting submissions from the public at large on "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Second Amendment Bill, 2015), we would like to submit to you the following :

 

The Land Ordinance has been fiercely opposed and debated in past three months across the country. After the consistent pressure and opposition, the NDA government has referred this to the Joint Parliamentary Committee headed by you and consisting of members of both the houses. However, your Committee has only given a two week notice to make submissions, which we feel is extremely insufficient for many groups and mass organisations to detail threadbare and bring out their comments, which requires more time.

 

Through this letter, we also want to suggest that Joint Parliamentary Committee must reach out to the farmers and workers of this country and hold wider consultations, public meetings and public hearings on the Bill. The majority of Indian citizens affected by land acquisition live in rural areas, so it is necessary and important to hold consultations to discuss the current draft in rural areas, especially where local communities have been affected by past or present experiences of land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement. From Kalinga Nagar and Dhinkia to Narmada, Sompetta, Raigarh, Madurai, Mundra, Kanhar, Bhatta Parsaul, Jashpur, Dholera, and many others, people resisting illegal land acquisitions will welcome the move of the Committee and democratic spirit of engagement behind that.

 

We understand that the Committee wants to complete its deliberations at the earliest; however, the matter of this importance can't be dealt away in such hurry. We believe that 2013 Act, amended after 114 years, and having vetted by two Parliamentary Standing Committees and debated over seven years inside and outside the Parliament should be given more time for deliberation.

 

We sincerely hope that the Committee would give due recognition to our demand and extend the deadline for the submissions atleast by a month until July 8th and also organise wider public consultations and hearings in affected areas, as has been done on previous occasions by the other Committees.

The Modi government's first anniversary party on Tuesday was marked by an intense war of words between the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress.

In an elaborate outreach programme,  BJP ministers, MPs and workers fanned out across the country to  highlight the Modi government's  achievements and launch an offensive against the scandals that surfaced when the previous Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government was in power.

But the Congress was equally quick to hit back.  The party released  a  42-page report card detailing the NDA government's failures and launched  a 12-minute video showing how the ruling alliance had done a U-turn on key policy decisions after coming to power at a specially convened press briefing addressed by senior leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mallikarjun Kharge. The media event marked the culmination of a week-long country-wide media blitzkrieg launched by the Congress to challenge the government's claims of achievement and paint Prime Minister Narendra Modi as pro-corporate and anti-farmer.

The Congress campaign titled Pol-Khol was a surprise since innovative communication has  not been the party's strong point. In contrast,  the BJP was always ahead in winning the perception battle by grabbing headlines and eyeballs In fact, Congress leaders openly lamented that poor communication was one of the key reasons it lost the last Lok Sabha election.

Getting its act together

After floundering for nearly a year after its shock defeat in the last general election, the grand old party is finally getting its act together. The Congress's communication department is suddenly transformed not unlike the party's vice-president Rahul Gandhi who returned from his unexplained sabbatical in a brand new avatar. With Rahul Gandhi setting the "attack Modi" agenda, the party soon followed suit. A re-energised Congress then went about collecting ammunition to hit out at  the Modi government.

What followed was a series of  hard-hitting statements on how the government had failed on various fronts and the release of the report card titled Ek Saal, Desh Badhaal, which details how the Modi government has allegedly let down the poor farmer with its decision to dilute the Land Acquisition Act,  reduced the budgetary allocations for social welfare schemes, ignored its much-touted Make in India programme with the purchase of Rafale fight jets from France and failed to implement its election promise to bring back black money stashed abroad.

While this message was disseminated through the country by Congress spokespersons, the party surprised everybody with the launch of a video, showing clips of the statements made by BJP leaders before the Lok Sabha election and its volte face on coming to power. Out of character with the Congress party's known ambivalence on media outreach, the video was yet another example of how the party is trying to keep pace with the BJP's communication strategy.



The video opens with the title song Acche Din Ab Kab Aayenge and then contrasts statements by BJP leaders when they were in opposition with their rhetoric now that they are in government.  For instance, there is a clip of Modi's fiery election speech in which he is attacking the UPA government for not bringing back black money and that  his government would act swiftly  and ensure that each Indian gets Rs 10 lakhs-Rs 15 lakhs from the proceeds. This is followed by BJP president Amit Shah's embarrassed statement that this was a mere "election jumla", not to be taken seriously.

Similarly,  Modi's equally determined rejection of the UPA government's move to introduce the Goods and Service Tax Bill as Gujarat chief minister is also followed by a somersault as Prime Minister Modi is shown announcing his support for the same bill.

Sushma Swaraj as leader of the opposition is seen rejecting the Indo-Bangla land agreement and Foreign Direct Investment in multi-brand retail. A subsequent clip shows Swaraj telling Parliament how this agreement was in the country's interest as it would improve ties with neighbouring Bangladesh. As for multi-brand retail, the Modi government has not revoked the UPA government's decision to cap FDI at 51%.

Then there is Modi lashing out at the UPA government for raising fuel prices and rail fares. But Finance Minister Arun Jaitley can be seen subsequently justifying his government's decision to increase fares on the grounds that the railways had been allowed to bleed by the previous government and that the BJP could not follow the weak-kneed policies of their predecessor.

The video also shows the U-turns on the BJP's position on China, Modi's promise to raise the minimum support price to farmers and the party's opposition to hiking foreign investment in the insurance sector.

Taking serious note of the incident, Maharashtra Minority Affairs Minister Eknath Khadse on Wednesday promised strict action against the guilty.
"We are seeking details of this incident and will deal with the guilty sternly," Khadse told reporters in Mumbai.
An activist has also taken up the matter with the National Commission for Minorities seeking a probe into the builder's "discriminatory policy."
25-year-old Misbah Quadri, who works with a public relations agency, had been living in an apartment at Kandivali in the western suburbs of Mumbai since she came to the city from Gujarat a year ago. Recently, she planned to move to a flat in Wadala area but met with a shocking response from the builder of the apartments.
"After a lot of searching, I finally found a house at Wadala and paid a deposit of Rs 24,000 through a broker. A night before I was to move in, I got a call from the broker, warning me not to shift there as it is the builder's policy not to have Muslim tenants. I tried to reason with him but he did not oblige," Quadri told PTI.
She claimed that the broker then asked her to sign a "no-objection certificate" declaring that if she faced any harassment from her neighbours because of her religion, the builder, the owner and the broker "would not be legally respons
Khadse said those trying to violate the fundamental rights of citizens will be taken to task.
"Citizens, irrespective of their faith, are free to purchase and sell property and seek employment opportunities anywhere in the country as well as the state. Those working against the fundamental right of the citizens will be dealt with firmly in accordance with the law," he said.
"No one will be allowed to violate the Constitutional rights of citizens," he said.
Narrating her experience, Quadri said, "I had to move into the flat though I did not agree with the terms because the notice period with my previous flat had expired and there was nowhere I could go. After a week, the broker called me again and asked me to leave. I had no option then but to leave the flat. Presently I am staying at a paying guest accommodation in Bandra."
Zeeshan Ali Khan, the MBA graduate who had applied for an opening in the diamond exports firm on May 19, had claimed he received a response within 15 minutes which said they hired only non-Muslim candidates.
"I would only like to tell people that please don't discriminate people on the basis of religion.
"I would like to tell her to not be demoralized and demotivated. Go ahead and file a legal action against the residential society," Khan said reacting to the ordeal faced by Quadri in her search for a home.

Despite the presence of caste in the globalised world of Indian modernity, the belief that caste consciousness is a rural occurrence persists. 'Urban' and 'rural' continue to be treated as contrasting categories as terms of reference for policy.

Several years ago, I witnessed a key moment in a rural primary school in Allahabad district of Uttar Pradesh. It was defining in that it revealed how casual educational planning in India is in the pursuit of long-term social aims. I was in a Class V room, sitting at the back and watching an old, experienced teacher and the children. The class strength was at least 50. It was a cold morning and many of them had neither shoes nor socks. I knew that while the government distributes a free uniform to schoolchildren, shoes are not a part of it. And in any case, socks are a complicated matter. Somehow, planners have never accepted socks to be a basic need for children.

The lesson that morning was a poem. It was a patriotic piece of verse with plenty of scope for explaining difficult words and their spelling. That is what the teacher was doing when he noticed that someone was standing at the door and holding a piece of paper. The teacher went over and looked at the paper. Then he turned towards the class and said, "All the SC [Scheduled Caste] children, stand up." Ten to 12 children stood up. The teacher told them, "Go to the office. Your scholarship has come." They left and the lesson continued.

'This is a village'

As far as the teacher was concerned, there was nothing unusual in calling some of his students as "SC children". Highlighting their caste background was part of a routine necessity. It was official work — that's all. What about the rest of the children? When I put forth this question to the teacher during the half-day break, he smiled and said, "They are general." That did not answer my question, so I repeated it. He said, "This is a village. Everyone knows everybody's caste here." And then he added, "This is not a city where no one worries about caste."

A recent visit to Allahabad revived the memory of the incident, the teacher and what he had said. This time I had some work in the university. On the way from the station to the guest house, my host updated me with some news. He told me that the process of filling up the hundreds of vacant teaching posts had again stopped because the vice-chancellor had resigned. Many key departments were functioning with less than a third of their sanctioned staff strength. This was a familiar story — a sort of national dirge. But something else my host said that morning reminded me of my visit to the village school in Allahabad district. He said that the university functions under the pressure of three main lobbies: the Brahmin group, the Thakur group and the Kayastha group. They actively compete for influence over every major decision, and, most avidly, over the process of selection for new appointments. After all, their future depends on continuous recruitment and proof of success in keeping up their pressure.

If there is one city in north India where one might expect caste consciousness to have diminished as a result of modernisation, it would be Allahabad. There are several historical reasons. To begin with, the university located at Allahabad is among the oldest in India, and it was not merely an examining university. Set up in 1887, it had existed earlier as the Muir Central College. With special patronage given by the British to several modern institutions in Allahabad, the university progressed rapidly and it became, in popular perception, the "Oxford of the East". As the historian, Christopher Bayly, who passed away recently, has pointed out, the town area of Allahabad had a higher proportion of literates in English than any other town west of Calcutta. With the establishment of the Indian Press in 1884, Allahabad became a major centre of publishing and literary activity in Hindi.

The Indian Press launched Saraswati in 1900, a monthly magazine that became Hindi's foremost platform for social and literary debates. As the new century progressed, other journals were born, such as Premchand's Hans and Mahadevi Varma's Chand. Remarkably different in their concerns and discourses, these, and other magazines, deepened the reach of modern ideas in every sphere of social life. The university flourished in the middle of a vast amount of dynamic, intellectual, literary and political activity.

Resurgence of caste

While the decline of Allahabad University has a wider, systemic context, the rise of strong caste-based groups inside it is a more specific phenomenon, demonstrating the resilience of the caste system and its identity-giving role. The popular assumption that urban modernity will weaken the power of caste was apparently based on a narrow view of the many functions it serves. Caste continues to be a major social force governing matrimony, socialisation of children, social status, and, in many cases, occupation. Political measures such as universal franchise and reservation were expected to make caste hierarchy irrelevant. Perhaps that did happen, but only to a limited extent and not in every region. Modern living, travel and communication were also supposed to usher in a social order where the individual could practise and enjoy the freedom of choice in all matters. When we look at the growth and number of caste and sub-caste communities that inhabit the Internet, we realise how innocent our great expectations from modernity were.

Caste mobilisation on the Internet reminds us of the desperate search for identity that Indians continue to make, tapping every possible resource — from nation and religion to caste and sub-caste. Apparently, virtual localism provides the same kind of solace in a globalised environment that a visit during the holidays to one's native village provided to earlier generations. It can also be seen as solace for the physical loss of the village where one's grandparents once used to live or perhaps are still living.

Urban-rural polarity

Despite this pervasive and vigorous presence of caste in the globalised world of Indian modernity, the belief that caste consciousness is mainly a rural phenomenon persists. "Urban" and "rural" continue to be treated as contrasting categories, not merely in popular parlance but also as terms of reference for public policy. The growth of education seems to have strengthened the view that caste — as a system of values and beliefs — now prevails mainly in villages. This stereotyped perception privileges the urban over the rural, making the former a symbol of progress, and the latter a symbol of stagnation. This simplistic division has distorted public policy and distribution of financial outlays. Towns and cities claim a disproportionately larger share of attention and money. They represent the future of the nation. On the other hand, villages are believed to represent the past. Occasionally treated as objects of reverence and concern, they receive mainly subsistence or, at times, compensatory grants from public funds.

Whether it is caste or any other marker of continuity, the ideology of associating it with rural life is highly problematic. This ideology has imparted an ominous ring to the term "rural development". As practised today, rural development means pushing the village to copy the town. This vision has no other image of the future to offer to a village except to become urban-like. This kind of mono-modernism is doomed to fail as indeed it already has. The persistence of caste and its resurgence in modernised spaces proves that policies based on rural-urban polarity are mistaken. Such policies are likely to exacerbate the wider crisis that we can witness across towns and villages in various forms, both in the natural and the social environment. It is a false belief that caste-based identities are a rural preserve. It would be equally erroneous to think that gender bias is found mainly in villages. Such ideas are remarkably popular among those responsible for shaping and implementing state policies, such as civil servants and teachers.

If the only future we can see for villages is to turn them into towns, it would be no future worth aspiring for, considering the shape our towns are already in. The late Raymond Williams, a historian of culture, had pointed out that the country and the city are not two rival states of human reality, but rather a continuum with many intermediate forms and overlaps. By essentialising the village, we merely display the limitations of our capacity to acknowledge a general crisis that the agenda of modernity faces.

Thanks Dr. Manmohan Singh to confirm that Modi`s making in is nothing but the zerox copy of UPA agenda of growth which I have been pointing out time and again. RSS hegemony is consisted of soft as well as hardcore Hindutva and Congress as well as NDA governance equally means ethnic cleansing, genocide culture and exclusion of the majority agrarian communities.Both hands of RSS have always been working together to make in the greatest market for  free flow of foreign capital  and foreign interests. 


Hence,Parliament has always been in consensus mode to execute the agenda of reforms and political parties never did launch a mass movement whatsoever against privatization,liberalization and Globalization despite every political parties have enough strength with wings of productive and social forces.


Rather the civil society and the NGOs have been leading the masses since 1991 and politics is reduced to identity based power sharing with a little bit of social engineering to convert the Bahujan Ramas into Hanumans so that the victims should rise as Bjrangi sena to accomplish the task of Hindu Empire.


Emergence of Modi phenomenon is nothing but a fascist mode of Hindu imperialism which it had always been. Modi is jsut the branding of Hindu Imperialism who also represents the half of Indian population,the OBC and finally RSS won the Mandal versus Kamandal Mahabharat without making the Bhavya Rammandir!

For example,eminent social activist Aruna Roy is worried for the security of the civil society as she spoke on Modi Governance is detail in an interview published in Bengali Daily Ei Samay today.Mind you,civil society is aligned with free market economy world wide and Aruna Roy and the Civil Society brigade had been the team for experts for policy making during NDA regime.



What RSS governance has done is nothing but replacing the civil society with RSS network directly connected to PMO and created its own NGO network killing all other NGOs which had been leading the masses in different parts of the country on genuine issues.


It is hard core Hindutva with fascism being the deciding factor.


As far as the continuity of racial ethnic cleansing is concerned NDA has just replaced Congress which DR.Manmohan Singh has confirmed.
