Indian prime minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Canada on a 3-day visit next Thursday on Harper's invitation as part of his 8-day three nations (France, Germany and Canada) as part of his ambitious 'Made in India' campaign. He also plans to discuss India's military need with fellow Israel-First buddies, Hollande, Markel and Harper, and the situation in the Middle East.
Canada's prime minister Stephen Harper and Narendra Modi are 'birds of the feather' in many ways. Their political base is Islamophobia and both are supported by Israel and Jewish lobby groups. Last year, Stephen Harper received a hero's welcome in Israel, while Netanyahu lavished praise on him for being 'courageous and far-sighted' for cancelling diplomatic relation with Iran. Netanyahu was one of the first foreign political leaders who congratulated Modi on his election victory as head of the Hindu extremist political parties.
In France, where Modi is making his first visit since taking office last year, he will seek to speed up price negotiations for the building of two reactors by state-run Areva S.A. of 1,650 megawatts each in the western state of Maharashtra.
In Canada, Modi hopes to close in on a deal to secure uranium imports after a 2013 agreement ended a 39-year embargo on nuclear trade with India following its first nuclear test in 1974, which set a chain reaction in Pakistan and China.
Beside one-million Canadian Muslims, the Sikh community in Canada is not happy seeing Modi being welcomed in Canada. The New York-based Sikh human rights group, Sikh for Justice (SFJ), has filed a complaint with the Attorney General of Canada seeking criminal proceedings against Modi for the "offences of torture and genocide" in Gujarat in 2002 under Canadian law which resulted in the murder of over 2,000 Muslim men, women and children while hundreds of Muslim girls were gang-raped by Hindu fascists.
The great majority of diaspora Sikh communities in both the US and Canada support an independent Sikh state (Khalistan) in the northern state of Punjab bordering Pakistan's province by the same name. On November 1966, Hindutva groups succeeded in partitioning India's part of Punjab into 3 states , Hindu-majority areas were divided into the states of Himachal Pradesh  and Haryana.
Modi who visited Israel as chief minister of Gujarat state in 2002, was banned to visit the US and Britain as result of Muslim genocide. However, Ottawa did not ban Modi for his 'Israeli connection'. Last year Harper and Hollande met Modi at G-20 meeting in Australia.
The last Indian prime minister who visited Canada was Indra Gandhi, who visited Canada in 1973. She was assassinated on October 31, 1984 in New Delhi. Later her son, prime minister Rajiv Gandhi was also assassinated by his Sikh bodyguards on May 21, 1991. Both assassinations were allegedly result of Indian army's attack on Sikhism most sacred place, Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab in 1984. In the aftermath, extremist Hindu mobs killed over 18,000 Sikh civilians in New Delhi and several other parts of India.
Canada-India relations suffered the biggest blow after the bombing of Air India Flight 182 on June 23, 1985 – allegedly a false flag operation carried out by the Indian and Canadian intelligence agencies to demean Sikh Canadians who provides major funding for the Khalistan movement.

The Houthi Ansarullah movement has warned that Yemen will turn into a "graveyard" for the aggressors against the country.
The movement's spokesman, Colonel Sharaf Luqman, described as "barbaric aggression" the attacks by Saudi Arabia against the Yemeni people during a news conference in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, on Thursday, adding that Yemen will turn into a "graveyard for invaders," the Anadolu Agency reported.
The remarks by the Yemeni colonel came as Saudi Arabia's fighter jets continued to pound areas across Yemen.
Luqman further said that the Yemeni people cannot be easily defeated, warning, "We will settle scores with everybody, sooner or later, in whatever way the people see fit."
Referring to the number of the people killed in the Saudi airstrikes in the country, Luqman, who was reportedly appointed as the spokesman for the the movementon Wednesday, noted that at least 1,000 people, including 200 children, have been killed and in excess of 15,000 others injured over the past two weeks.
Meanwhile, in a statement on the same day, the Houthi Ansarullah movement called on the Yemeni people to take to the streets in the country on Friday to "to denounce this barbaric aggression against Yemen."
Saudi Arabia's air campaign against Yemen started on March 26, without a UN mandate, in a bid to restore power to the country's fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a staunch ally of Riyadh.

Large tornado causes significant damage in central Illinois | 09 April 2015 | Authorities say one person is dead and seven injured in a northern Illinois community hit by a severe storm that produced at least one tornado. নানা দুর্বলতার সুযোগে কালো টাকার অবাধ পাঁচার

দেশে কালো টাকা বলে কোনো টাকা নেই। যে টাকাকে কালো টাকা বলা হচ্ছে তা বিদেশে পাঁচার করে সাদা করা হয়। দেশের অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নে যেভাবেই টাকা আয় করুক তাদের বিনিয়োগের সুযোগ দিতে হবে' -কালো টাকার পক্ষে ২০১৪-১৫ অর্থ বছরের বাজেট অধিবেশনে বর্তমান সংসদেরই একজন সদস্য এভাবেই কালো টাকার পক্ষে সাফাই গাইলেন। অথচ ২০১৪ সালের ২০ জুন সুইস ন্যাশনাল ব্যাংক (এসএনবি) এর 'ব্যাংকস ইন সুইজারল্যান্ড ২০১৩'প্রতিবেদনের উদ্ধৃতি দিয়ে সংবাদ প্রকাশ করা হয় - ২০১২ এর তুলনায় ৬২ শতাংশ বেড়ে সুইস ব্যাংকগুলোয় বাংলাদেশিদের ৩,১৬২.৭২ কোটি টাকা গচ্ছিত রয়েছে। মানি লন্ডারিং প্রতিরোধ আইন কার্যকর হওয়ার পর থেকে বিশ্বব্যাপী দুর্নীতিপরায়ণ রাজনীতিক, আমলাসব ব্যবসায়ীদের সকল অবৈধ অর্থের নিরাপদ জিম্মাদার হিসাবে পরিচিত সুইজারল্যান্ডের ব্যাংকগুলোর ব্যাপক সমালোচনার প্রেক্ষিতে তারা ২০০২ সাল থেকে দেশভিত্তিক জমাকৃত কালো টাকার পরিমাণ প্রকাশ করতে থাকে। এতে দুর্নীতিবাজরা তাদের আমানত উঠিয়ে নিতে শুরু করে এবং ২০০৮ থেকে সুইস ব্যাংকগুলোতে জমাকৃত অর্থের পরিমাণ কমলেও আশ্চর্যজনকভাবে বাংলাদেশ থেকে পাঁচারকৃত অর্থের আমানত বাড়ছে। আর্থিক বিশেষজ্ঞদের মতে, সুইস ব্যাংকে জমাকৃত অর্থ পাঁচারকৃত মোট অর্থের পঞ্চাশ ভাগের এক ভাগ হতে পারে।

বিশ্বব্যাপী সন্দেহজনক বা কালো টাকার পাঁচার সম্পর্কিত গ্লোবাল ফাইন্যান্সিয়াল ইন্টিগ্রিটি (জিএফআই) প্রকাশিত সর্বশেষ তথ্যে জানা যায়,বাংলাদেশ থেকে প্রায় ১৭৮০ মিলিয়ন ডলার অর্থ পাঁচার হয়। ২০০৩-২০১৪ সময়কালে প্রতি বছর গড় বৃদ্ধির হার ২৮.৮৫% হিসাবে বাংলাদেশ থেকে প্রায় ১৮.৪১ বিলিয়ন ডলার বা ১ লাখ ৮৪ হাজার ৪১৩ কোটি টাকা পাঁচার হয়, যা থেকে সরকার কমপক্ষে প্রায় ৩৫ হাজার ৯০৫ কোটি টাকা অতিরিক্ত রাজস্ব সংগ্রহ করতে পারতো। উপরের মোট প্রাক্কলনে বেনামে বা অন্য কোন দেশের নাগরিক বা প্রতিষ্ঠানের নামে গচ্ছিত অর্থ বা মূল্যবান গহনা ও দূর্লভ সামগ্রীর মূল্য অন্তর্ভুক্ত করায় এ হিসাব খুবই কম। মূলত ২০০৬ এবং ২০০৭ সালে ব্যাপকভাবে অর্থ পাঁচার হলেও ২০১১ সাল পর্যন্ত এর পরিমাণ ছিল ২০১২ সাল থেকে কয়েক গুণ বেশি এবং ২০১১ এর তুলনায় ২০১৪ সালে ৫ গুণের বেশি কালো টাকা বিভিন্ন দেশে পাঁচার হয়। উল্লেখ্য, ২০১১ সাল থেকেই শেয়ার বাজার, সোনালি ও বেসিক ব্যাংকসহ বিভিন্ন রাষ্ট্রায়াত্ব এবং বেসরকারি ব্যাংক থেকে বর্তমান প্রভাবশালীদের প্রত্যক্ষ এবং পরোক্ষ সহায়তায় হলমার্ক, বিসমিল্লাহ গ্রুপ সহ বিভিন্ন কোম্পানির হাজার হাজার কোটি টাকা আত্মসাতের ঘটনা ঘটতে শুরু করে, যা বর্তমানেও অব্যাহত রয়েছে। আয়কর বিভাগের তথ্যমতে, এসব টাকা কারো নামে জমা হয়নি। তাহলে এতো টাকা গেল কোথায় ? এটা পরিস্কার যে, ২০০৩-২০০৫ সময়কালের তুলনায় বর্তমানে প্রভাবশালীরা কয়েক গুণ বেশি কালো টাকা বিদেশে পাঁচারের সাথে জড়িত।

ক্ষমতার অপব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে অবৈধভাবে অর্জিত পাঁচারকৃত অর্থে কানাডায় 'বেগমপাড়া'সহ, আমেরিকা, দুবাই, ব্যাংকক এবং সিঙ্গাপুরের বিভিন্ন ব্যাংকে, মালয়েশিয়া এবং ভারতে নাগরিকত্ব গ্রহণ বা 'সেকেন্ড হোম'বা ব্যবসায় বিনিয়োগের নামে করতে প্রকৃত কি পরিমাণ অর্থ পাঁচার করা হয়েছে তার প্রকৃত হিসাব রাষ্ট্রের নাগরিকদের স্বার্থে জানা জরুরি। এর আগে বর্তমান ক্ষমতাসীন আওয়ামী লীগের প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য এবং মন্ত্রী সহ প্রায় ২০জন বাংলাদেশি বড় ব্যবসায়ী নিজ নামে এবং পরিবারের সদস্যদের নামে 'কর স্বর্গ'বলে পরিচিত যেমন জার্সি দ্বীপ এবং বৃটিশ ভার্জিন দ্বীপসমূহে অর্থ পাঁচার করা হয় বলে সংবাদ মাধ্যম খবর দিয়েছিল। (নিউ এজ, জুলাই ২০১৩)।

প্রাথমিক অনুসন্ধানে প্রাক্তন ৭জন মন্ত্রী-এমপির প্রায় ৪ হাজার কোটি টাকার জ্ঞাত-আয় বহির্ভূত বা অবৈধ সম্পদের প্রাথমিক তথ্য পাওয়া গেছে। এনবিআর, বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকসহ অন্যান্য বিশ্লেষণে প্রাপ্ত তথ্য মতে,বছরে প্রায় ২০ হাজার কোটি টাকা হুন্ডির মাধ্যমে, ১০ থেকে ১৬ হাজার কোটি টাকা ট্রান্সফার প্রাইজিং (কম মূল্যে আমদানি দাম দেখানো) এবং অন্যান্য অবৈধ উপায়ে আরো প্রায় ৫ হাজার কোটি টাকা বাংলাদেশ থেকে পাঁচার হচ্ছে। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের মূদ্রানীতি অনুযায়ী ৫ হাজার ডলার বেশি অর্থ পাঠানো যায়না। চিকিৎসা বা শিক্ষা ব্যয়ের জন্য বিদেশে টাকা পাঠাতে গেলে অনেক ঝামেলা পোহাতে হয়। প্রশ্ন হলো এতো টাকা তাহলে পাঁচার হলো কিভাবে? দুদক, এনবিআর বা বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের চোখ ফাঁকি দিয়ে কিভাবে বিদেশে হাজার হাজার কোটি টাকা পাঁচার হলো? গত ৬ বছরে দুদককে অকার্যকর করে দুর্নীতিকে প্রাতিষ্ঠানিকীকরণ করার মাধ্যমে ক্ষেত্রবিশেষে সরকারের সর্বোচ্চ পর্যায় থেকে দুর্নীতিবাজদের দেশপ্রেমিকের সার্টিফিকেট প্রদানের কারণেই কি অবাধে কালো টাকা উপার্জন এবং বিদেশে তা পাঁচারের সুযোগ করে দেয়া হয়? এর প্রধান দায় সাবির্কভাবে সরকার এবং প্রাতিষ্ঠানিকভাবে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক, এনবিআর ও দুদকের।

নানা চাপে সরকারি-বেসরকারি ব্যাংকগুলো থেকে হাজার হাজার কোটি টাকা লুটপাটের সুযোগ করে দেয়, অন্যদিকে মানি লন্ডারিং আইন শক্তিশালী না করে এবং ক্ষেত্রবিশেষে প্রয়োগ না করার কারণে শেয়ার বাজার লুটপাট, চাঁদাবাজি-কমিশন বাবদ অবৈধভাবে জমাকৃত হাজার হাজার কোটি টাকা পাঁচারের পথ খুলে দেয়া হয়। মালয়েশিয়া (সেকেন্ড হোম প্রকল্প ও ব্যবসা), বৃটেন, সুইজারল্যান্ড যুক্তরাষ্ট্র, হংকক, দুবাই,রাজনীতিবিদ, ব্যবসায়ী এবং আমলারা দুর্নীতির মাধ্যমে অর্জিত কোটি কোটি ডলার জমা করছে। বিভিন্ন তথ্য মতে, আন্তর্জাতিকসহ বিভিন্ন পর্যায়ের প্রায় ৫০টি ব্যাংকের মাধ্যমে নানাভাবে টাকা লেনদেন হয়। আর সুইস ব্যাংক হলো এসবের প্রধান সিন্ডিকেট। যে টাকার কথা বলা হচ্ছে তা নগদ টাকা। এছাড়া বাড়ি, ফ্ল্যাট ও ব্যবসার মাধ্যমে আরো অন্তত তিন লক্ষ কোটি টাকা পাচার হয়েছে। আরেকটি চক্র বিদেশ থেকে বৈদেশিক মুদ্রায় প্রবাসীদের রেমিটেন্স সংগ্রহ করে তা বিদেশেই রেখে দিয়ে দেশে টাকায় দায় শোধ করা হয়; তেমনি বিদেশ থেকে আমদানির ক্ষেত্রেও একই পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করায় প্রায় ৪০ শতাংশ বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা দেশে আসছেনা, যেগুলো কোন না কোন বিদেশি ব্যাংকে জমা হচ্ছে। আর ২০১৪ এর ৫ ই জানুয়ারির ভোটারবিহীন নির্বাচনের পর সৃষ্ট রাজনৈতিক অস্থিরতায় অনিশ্চয়তা সৃষ্টি হওয়ায় ব্যাবসায়ীরাও বিনিয়োগ না করে নিরাপত্তার নামে বিদেশে অর্থ পাঁচার করছে।

বিভিন্ন সূত্র থেকে প্রাপ্ত তথ্যানুযায়ী, ২০১৩ এর শেষ দিকে বিদেশে পাড়ি জমানোর জন্য সেকেন্ড হোম প্রকল্পে আবেদন করেছিলেন ৬৪৮ জন বিশিষ্ট ব্যাক্তি। যার মধ্যে রয়েছেন আওয়ামী লীগের ২৮৭ জন, বিএনপি-জামায়াতের ৯৬ জন এবং বাকি ২৬৫ জন সুবিধাভোগী শিল্পপতি,ব্যবসায়ী ও আমলা। আর এদের পছন্দের তালিকায় সবার ওপরে মালয়েশিয়া। এর পরেই রয়েছে কানাডা, যুক্তরাষ্ট্র, অষ্ট্রেলিয়া,নিউজিল্যান্ড ও সিঙ্গাপুরসহ মধ্যপ্রাচ্যেও বেশ কয়েকটি দেশ। উল্লেখ্য,২০০৭ সালে ১৪৯ জন, ২০০৮ সালে ৬৮ জন, ২০০৯ সালে ৮৬ জন;২০১০ সালে ৭৪ জন; ২০১১ সালে ২৭৬ জন; ২০১২ সালে ৩৮৮ জন এবং ২০১৩ এর জুন পর্যন্ত ৯৪ জন বাংলাদেশি মালয়েশিয়ায় সেকেন্ড হোম প্রকল্পে বিনিয়োগ করে। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের ফাইন্যান্সিয়াল ইন্টিলিজেন্স ইউনিট গঠনের পর অবৈধভাবে কিভাবে দেশের বাইরে অর্থ পাঁচার হচ্ছে তা বোধগম্য নয়।

মালয়েশিয়ার পর্যটন মন্ত্রণালয়ের ওয়েবসাইটে প্রদত্ত তথ্য অনুযায়ী, 'মালয়েশিয়া মাই সেকেন্ড হোম'প্রকল্পের আওতায় ২০০৭-২০১৩ এর জুন পর্যন্ত ১,০১২ জন রাজনীতিক, ব্যবসায়ী এবং আমলা বাড়ি-ফ্ল্যাট ক্রয় করেছে।

দেশের প্রচলিত মানি লন্ডারিং প্রতিরোধ আইনেই পাঁচার করা টাকা দেশে ফিরিয়ে আনা সম্ভব। মানি লন্ডারিং প্রতিরোধ ও সন্ত্রাসী কর্মকান্ডে অর্থায়ন বন্ধে বাংলাদেশ সুইজারল্যান্ডসহ ১৪৭টি দেশের আন্তর্জাতিক সংস্থা 'এগমন্ট গ্রুপ'এর সাথে ২০১৩ এর জুলাই এ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর করায় টাকা পাঁচারের তথ্য সহজে পাওয়া সম্ভব। এক্ষেত্রে শুধুমাত্র সন্দেহবাজদের সুনির্দিষ্ট নাম দিয়ে তথ্য চাইতে হবে। এক্ষেত্রে সুইজারল্যান্ডসহ সম্ভাব্য পাঁচারের অর্থ জমা আছে এমন দেশগুলোর সাথে চুক্তি করতে হবে। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক ইতিমধ্যে ১৭টি দেশের সাথে এ ধরনের চুক্তি করেছে। তাছাড়াও, আন্তর্জাতিকভাবে মানি লন্ডারিং প্রতিরোধে 'ফাইন্যান্সিয়াল অ্যাকশন টাস্কফোর্স (এফএটিএফ)' এর আওতায় 'এশিয়া-প্যাসিফিক গ্রুপ অন মানি লন্ডারিং (এপিজি)' এগমন্ট গ্রুপের আওতায় বিভিন্ন দেশকে পাঁচারকৃত অর্থ ফিরিয়ে আনতে সহায়তা করে। উল্লেখ্য, ভারতের নতুন সরকার কালো টাকা তদন্তে বিশেষ তদন্ত দল (এসআইটি) গঠন করেছে। সুইস সরকার ইতিমধ্যে জানিয়েছে যে, সুইস ব্যাংকে ভারতীয়দের হিসাবের তালিকা ভারত সরকারকে প্রদান করবে এবং তালিকা প্রণয়নের কাজ ইতিমধ্যে শুরু করেছে। ভারত এবং সুইজারল্যান্ডের মধ্যকার কর সংক্রান্ত চুক্তি অনুমোদন দেয়ায় ভারত সরকারের সুইস ব্যাংকের গোপন হিসাবে যেসব ভারতীয় কর - ফাঁকি এবং কর প্রতারণার মাধ্যমে মিলিয়ন মিলিয়ন ডলার অবৈধ অর্থ গচ্ছিত রেখেছে সে সম্পর্কে তথ্য প্রাপ্তি এবং তা উদ্ধারে সুইস সরকারের সহায়তাও পাবে। এসব পাঁচারকৃত অর্থ ফিরিয়ে আনতে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক বা দুদকের এ সংক্রান্ত আইন বা চুক্তি না থাকার অজুহাত দেখানো বা কোনো ধরনের গড়িমসির সুযোগ নেই। পাঁচারকৃত অর্থ উদ্ধার তখনি সম্ভব হবে, যদি বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক নিরপেক্ষভাবে এবং দুদক দলবাজি অবস্থান থেকে সরে পদক্ষেপ নেয়।

বাংলাদেশ সরকার চাইলে তথ্য বিনিময় এবং পাঁচারকৃত টাকা ফিরিয়ে আনার দ্রুত এবং সহজ পদ্ধতি নির্ধারণে সুইস সরকারের সঙ্গে সমঝোতা চুক্তি করতে পারে। তাছাড়াও জাতিসংঘ দুর্নীতিবিরোধী আন্তর্জাতিক সনদে সাক্ষর করায় বাংলাদেশ সকল প্রকার দুর্নীর্তির মাধ্যমে অর্জিত কালো টাকার উৎস বন্ধ এবং সুইস ব্যাংক সহ 'কর-স্বর্গ'বলে পরিচিত বিভিন্ন দেশ এবং আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠানে জমাকৃত সকল অবৈধ অর্থ উদ্ধারে সরকার, বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক, এনবিআর এবং দুদকের দায়বদ্ধতা রয়েছে। ক্ষমতাসীনরা সাংবিধানের ২০(২) অনুচ্ছেদ অনুসারে,'রাষ্ট্র এমন অবস্থা সৃষ্টির চেষ্টা করিবেন, যেখানে সাধারণ নীতি হিসাবে কোন ব্যক্তি অনুর্পাজিত আয় ভোগ করিতে সমর্থ হইবে না'বলে সুস্পষ্ঠ নির্দেশনা রয়েছে। ভারতের নির্বাচিত নতুন সরকার পাঁচারকৃত অর্থ ফিরিয়ে আনার উদ্যোগ নিতে পারলে, বাংলাদেশের ক্ষমতাসীনদের এ ব্যাপারে আগ্রহ নেই কেন?

বিদেশে বাড়ির মালিক ৩৮৩ জন, আওয়ামী লীগ ২৮৭ বিএনপি ৯৬

বিদেশে সেকেন্ড হোম নিয়েছেন এমন ৬৪৮ ব্যক্তির বিষয়ে তদন্ত করছে বাংলাদেশের দুই সংস্থা। ইতিমধ্যে অনুসন্ধান শুরু করেছে দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশন (দুদক)। এক উপ-পরিচালকের নেতৃত্বে দুদকের তিন সদস্যের বিশেষ টিম প্রাথমিক অনুসন্ধান চালাচ্ছে। যোগাযোগ করা হচ্ছে মালয়েশিয়া সরকারের সঙ্গেও। পাশাপাশি একই তালিকা ধরে তদন্ত চালাচ্ছে জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ড। এ তালিকাভুক্তদের মধ্যে রাজনীতিক আছেন ৩৮৩ জন এবং সাবেক সরকারি কর্মকর্তা, শিক্ষকসহ বিভিন্ন পেশাজীবী আর ব্যবসায়ী ২৬৫ জন।

তালিকায় আওয়ামী লীগ ও বিএনপি-জামায়াতের নেতাদের সংখ্যাও আলাদা করা হয়েছে। সে হিসেবে আওয়ামী লীগের বিভিন্ন স্তরের নেতা-কর্মীর মধ্যে ২৮৭ এবং বিএনপি-জামায়াত সংশ্লিষ্ট ৯৬ জন বাংলাদেশের বাইরে সেকেন্ড হোম রেখেছেন। জানা যায়, মালয়েশিয়া সরকারের দেওয়া তথ্যানুসারে গত এক যুগে সেখানে সেকেন্ড হোম সুবিধা নিয়েছেন ৩ হাজার ৫ জন বাংলাদেশি। তাদের প্রত্যেককে মালয়েশিয়ায় ১০ বছরের জন্য নন-মালয়েশিয়ান হিসেবে ভিসা নিতে কমপক্ষে প্রায় ১ কোটি টাকা করে মালয়েশিয়ার ব্যাংকে জমা রাখা ও আনুষঙ্গিক ব্যয় করতে হয়েছে। সে হিসেবে শুধু মালয়েশিয়ায় পাচার হয়েছে প্রায় ৩ হাজার ৫ কোটি টাকা। কিন্তু বাংলাদেশ থেকে দ্বিতীয় কোনো দেশে বিনিয়োগ বা অন্য কোনো কারণে এত টাকা নিয়ে যাওয়ার কোনো আইনি সুযোগই নেই। তাই পুরোটাই গিয়েছে অবৈধ হুন্ডি বা অন্য অবৈধ উপায়ে। সেকেন্ড হোম গড়তে আগ্রহীদের কাছে মালয়েশিয়া ছাড়া আরেকটি জনপ্রিয় গন্তব্য কানাডা। 

সিঙ্গাপুর, অস্ট্রেলিয়া, নিউজিল্যান্ড ও যুক্তরাষ্ট্রও আছে তালিকায়। জানা গেছে, যুক্তরাষ্ট্র, কানাডা, যুক্তরাজ্য, বেলজিয়ামে অনেক রাজনীতিকের ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্য রয়েছে। কেউ কেউ সেসব দেশের নাগরিক। রয়েছে অল্টারনেটিভ পাসপোর্ট। এভাবে বিপুল অর্থ-সম্পদ গড়ে তুলেছেন অনেকেই।মালয়েশিয়ার সেকেন্ড হোম প্রজেক্টের (এমএমটুএইচ) ২০১৪ সালের মাসভিত্তিক পরিসংখ্যানে দেখা গেছে, জানুয়ারিতে আবেদন করেছেন ২, ফেব্রুয়ারিতে ২৬, মার্চে ৩৫, এপ্রিলে ২০, মে-তে ২৯, জুনে ৯, জুলাইয়ে ৯, আগস্টে ৯, সেপ্টেম্বরে ৩৫, অক্টোবরে ১৪, নভেম্বরে ২১, ডিসেম্বরে ৪১ জন। সর্বশেষ প্রকাশিত তালিকায় বাংলাদেশ হচ্ছে শীর্ষ দেশগুলোর মধ্যে তৃতীয়। শীর্ষে চীন, দ্বিতীয় জাপান। 

এরপর কোরিয়া, যুক্তরাজ্য, আয়ারল্যান্ড ও সিঙ্গাপুরের অবস্থান। ২০১৪ সালের শীর্ষ ১০ তালিকায় ভারত নেই। তালিকা অনুসারে জানা যায়, মালয়েশিয়ার সেকেন্ড হোম প্রজেক্ট প্রথম চালু হয় ২০০২ সালে। প্রথমবার কোনো বাংলাদেশি সেখানে আবেদন করেননি। ২০০৩ সালে প্রথমবার বাংলাদেশিরা আবেদন করেন। তখন থেকে এ পর্যন্ত মোট আবেদন করেছেন ৩ হাজার ৫ জন বাংলাদেশি। এর মধ্যে ২০১৪ সালে ২৫০, ২০১৩ সালে ২৮৫, ২০১১ সালে ২৭৬, ২০১০ সালে ৭৪, ২০০৯ সালে ৮৬, ২০০৮ সালে ৬৮, ২০০৭ সালে ১৪৯, ২০০৬ সালে ৩৪১, ২০০৫ সালে ৮৫২, ২০০৪ সালে ২০৪ ও ২০০৩ সালে ৩২ জন আবেদন করেন। সূত্রমতে, দুদকের অনুসন্ধান চালানো কর্মকর্তারা দীর্ঘ তালিকা নিয়ে অনুসন্ধান শুরু করেছেন। তালিকা ও প্রাপ্ত পরিসংখ্যান নিয়ে তারা পর্যালোচনা করছেন। পর্যালোচনায় দেখা গেছে, সরকার পরিবর্তনের সময়গুলোয় আবেদনের হিড়িক পড়ে যায়। 

সর্বশেষ আওয়ামী লীগের ছয় বছরে মোট আবেদন পড়েছে ১ হাজার ৩৫৯টি। ওয়ান-ইলেভেনে দুই বছরে আবেদন করেছিলেন ২১৭ জন। এর আগে বিএনপি-জামায়াতের চার বছরে আবেদন জমা পড়ে ১ হাজার ৪২৯টি। সূত্রমতে, দূদকের পক্ষ থেকে মালয়েশিয়া সরকারের কাছে তালিকা চেয়ে চিঠি পাঠানো হচ্ছে। শীর্ষ পর্যায়ের অনুমোদনের জন্য একটি ফাইলও প্রস্তুত করা হয়েছে। অনুমোদন পাওয়া গেলে মালয়েশিয়া সফরেও যাবেন দুদক প্রতিনিধিরা। জানা যায়, মালয়েশিয়ার পর্যটন মন্ত্রণালয়ের মাধ্যমে পরিচালিত এমএমটুএইচ প্রজেক্টের মালয়েশিয়ার বাইরে কোনো অনুমোদিত এজেন্ট নেই। কিন্তু দিন দিন জনপ্রিয়তা বাড়তে থাকায় এমএমটুএইচের বাংলাদেশে সাব-এজেন্টের সংখ্যা বাড়তে থাকে। বিভিন্ন অনলাইন সামাজিক মাধ্যমে বিজ্ঞাপন শুরু হয়। 

উত্তরার এক সাব-এজেন্টের কার্যালয়ে সেকেন্ড হোমের আগ্রহ জানানো হয়েছে, বিশ্বের তৃতীয় সাশ্রয়ী অবসরকালীন অভিবাসন সুবিধা মালয়েশিয়ার সেকেন্ড হোম। ১০ বছরের জন্য নন-মালয়েশিয়ান ভিসার জন্য আবেদন করতে বাংলাদেশি ৫০ বছরের অনূর্ধ্বদের অ্যাকাউন্টে জমা থাকতে হয় ৫ লাখ রিঙ্গিত বা ১ কোটি ৬ লাখ টাকা এবং মালয়েশিয়ার ব্যাংকে ফিক্সড ডিপোজিট করতে হয় ৬৫ লাখ টাকা। ৫০-ঊর্ধ্ব বয়সীদের জন্য অ্যাকাউন্টে থাকতে হবে সাড়ে ৩ লাখ রিঙ্গিত বা ৭৫ লাখ টাকা। মালয়েশিয়ায় ফিক্সড ডিপোজিট করতে হবে ৩২ লাখ টাকা। তবে উভয় ক্ষেত্রে মাসিক আয় হতে হবে কমপক্ষে ২ লাখ ১২ হাজার টাকা। বাংলাদেশ থেকে বৈধ উপায়ে এত টাকা মালয়েশিয়া বা অন্য কোনো দেশে পাঠানোর উপায় নেই জানালে বাংলাদেশি এক সাব-এজেন্টের উত্তর- 'টাকা পাঠানোর চিন্তা আমাদের। দেশের ভিতরে এক জেলা থেকে আরেক জেলায় টাকা পাঠাতে যে সময় লাগে তার চেয়ে ১০ গুণ কম সময়ে পাঠানো হবে।'

 মতিঝিলের আরেক সাব-এজেন্টের বক্তব্য- 'আপনি মালয়েশিয়ায় কারও কাছে ফোন করলে রিং বাজার আগেই তার কাছে টাকা পাঠানো যাবে।'সম্প্রতি সরেজমিনে গিয়ে দেখা যায়, মালয়েশিয়ার আমপাং, মালাক্কা, কোচাইলামা, ক্যামেরন হাইল্যান্ড ও শাহ-আলম শহরে বাংলাদেশিরা বাড়ি কিনে বসবাস করছেন। মালয়েশিয়ার আমপাং শহরের বাসিন্দা ও বাংলাদেশের অধিবাসী ডা. হুমায়ুন কবির জানান, আড়াই বছর আগে তিনি মালয়েশিয়ায় আসেন। সেকেন্ড হোমের জন্য প্রতি তলায় দেড় হাজার বর্গফুটের স্পেসসহ বাড়ি কিনেছেন ১ লাখ ২৫ হাজার রিঙ্গিত দিয়ে। বাংলাদেশি টাকায় দাম ২ কোটি ৭৫ লাখ টাকা। তিন তলা ভবনের দোতলায় তিনটি রুম ও তৃতীয় তলায় দুই বেড ও একটি গেস্ট রুম রয়েছে। প্রতিটি রুমের সঙ্গে রয়েছে বাথ ও টয়লেট আলাদাভাবে। নিচ তলায় রয়েছে ড্রইংরুম, কিচেন, ডাইনিংরুম ও সার্ভেন্টরুম। বাড়ির সামনে রয়েছে গার্ডেন ও কার পার্কিং। দুদক কমিশনার মো. সাহাবুদ্দিন চুপ্পু গত সপ্তাহে সংবাদ সম্মেলনে জানিয়েছেন, 'মালয়েশিয়ায় সেকেন্ড হোমে অবৈধভাবে অর্থ পাচার বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ইস্যু। এরই মধ্যে আমরা বেশকিছু তথ্য পেয়েছি। আশা করা হচ্ছে অবৈধভাবে বিনিয়োগকারীদের ধরতে আগামী তিন মাসের মধ্যেই বাংলাদেশ-মালয়েশিয়া সমঝোতা চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর হবে।'তিনি বলেন, 'দুদক জাতিসংঘের দুর্নীতিবিরোধী কনভেনশন আনকাকের সদস্য। সে সূত্রেই মালয়েশিয়ার সঙ্গে চুক্তি করার চেষ্টা চলছে। ইতিমধ্যে এ লক্ষ্যে আমরা ইমিগ্রেশনে চিঠি দিয়েছি। মন্ত্রিপরিষদেও এ বিষয়ে প্রস্তাব পাঠানো হয়েছে। আশা করি জুনের মধ্যেই সমঝোতা চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর হবে।'

ভারতের ত্রিপুরা রাজ্যের আগরতলার মাসুলবিহীন ২৫ হাজার মেট্রিক টন খাদ্যপণের দ্বিতীয় চালান গতকাল বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে জাহাজ থেকে কাভার্ড ভ্যানে খালাস শুরু হয়েছে। গত বুধবার রাতে ভারতের কোলকাতার বজবজ জেটি থেকে ৯৬৭ দশমিক ৫৯৩ মেট্রিক টন চাল নিয়ে এমভি সান মেরিনো আশুগঞ্জ বন্দরে আসে। এর মধ্যে ১৯ হাজার ৭৫০ বস্তা চাল আসে আশুগঞ্জ বন্দরে। এসব পণ্য জাহাজ থেকে খালাস করে সড়কপথে কাভার্ড ভ্যানে করে ভারতের ত্রিপুরা নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে। 

২৫ হাজার টন চাল ত্রিপুরা নিয়ে যাওয়ার ব্যাপারে ভারতীয় পরিবহন ঠিকাদারী প্রতিষ্ঠান ডারসেল লজিস্টিক্স-এর কাছ থেকে দরপত্রের মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশের পরিবহন ঠিকাদারী প্রতিষ্ঠান আন বিজ ডেভেলপমেন্ট লিমিটেডকে কার্যাদেশ দেয়া হয়। কোলকাতার বজবজ জেটি থেকে এসব চাল ত্রিপুরা রাজ্যে নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য বাংলাদেশের ৩৫০ কিলোমিটার নৌপথ ও ৪৫ কিলোমিটার স্থলপথ ব্যবহার করা হচ্ছে। 

শুধুমাত্র আশুগঞ্জ বন্দরের জাহাজের পাকিং চার্জ প্রতি মেট্রিক টনে ৩০ টাকা ছাড়া এসব পন্য থেকে আর কোনো প্রকার মাসুল পাচ্ছে না বাংলাদেশ সরকার। ১৯৭২ সালের নৌ-প্রটোকল চুক্তির আওতায় বিশেষ মানবিক কারণে মাসুলবিহীন এবার ২৫ হাজার মেট্রিক টন খাদ্যপণ্য যাচ্ছে ভারতের ত্রিপুরা রাজ্যে। এর আগে গত ১৬ মার্চ ৯৩৭ দশমিক ০৫ মেট্রিক টন চাল নিয়ে এমভি নিউটেক-৬ আশুগঞ্জ আন্তর্জাতিক নৌ-বন্দরে এসে পৌঁছে এবং ভারতের ত্রিপুরায় পাঠানো হয়।

 How can Obama claim alternative to nuclear deal with Iran is war?


A kudo to President Obama. But just one.
If he manages to pull off an agreement with Iran on limiting that country's nuclear fuel enrichment program in the fact of determined resistance from Republicans, Neocons, the Israel Lobby and the warmongers in both the GOP and his own Democratic Party, he will have finally earned at least some small portion of the gold in his Nobel Peace medallion.
We could reasonably ask why he thinks it's cool to negotiate with the "Axis of Evil" nation of Iran over the nuclear issue, but not with Russia over Ukraine. After all, Iran doesn't even have a nuclear weapon, and on the evidence, isn't trying to build one, so these negotiations aren't really even preventing a nuclear war; they're just calming the nerves of some trigger happy paranoids in Israel and Washington. But Russia does have nuclear weapons, and has made it clear that if the US pushes too hard at putting NATO weapons and forces near the Russian border, or if it tries to undo the annexation of Crimea, it will use them. Shouldn't that kind of thing call for cool-headed negotiation, instead of aggressive moves like sending offensive armaments to Kiev?
But then we have some other issues too.
If Obama really wants an agreement with Iran on limiting its nuclear fuel enrichment program, why is he being so hard-assed about ending the grinding sanctions that have been imposed on the country? I mean a deal's a deal. If one side gives you want you want, you have to give something in return. You can't say, okay you stop enriching uranium, dilute the stuff that you already enriched to 20%, back down to 3.5%, and shut down most of your centrifuges so you can't make much anymore. But we're not going to end sanctions until you have done this for a while so we know you mean it.
That's double-dealing, and hardly conducive to building a new relationship with a country that has good reason to doubt your own sincerity (after all, the US corporate media in reporting on this story never mention it, but Iranian antipathy towards the US didn't begin with the overthrow of America's puppet, the Shah of Iran. It began in the 1950s with a coup orchestrated by the CIA and British intelligence which overthrew Iran's secular elected government — a catastrophe from which Iran has never recovered.
In fact, as part of the deal Iran probably should have insisted on an apology for that outrage, along with a promise to never again meddle in Iran's internal politics.
Instead we have this rather bullying agreement in which a weakened Iran, faced with both tough US-led economic sanctions and a brutally low world price for oil (also allegedly orchestrated by the US and its puppet state Saudi Arabia), has agreed to severely reduce its nuclear refining capability, receiving little but promises of future lifting of sanctions in return.
The other thing, though, is this rhetoric from our Peace Laureate president threatening that if Iran doesn't agree to the negotiated terms of this pact (and the ruling imams of the Guardian Council still have to give it their okay), it will mean war.
Where does he get off making that kind of threat? Iran, it should be made clear, is not doing anything illegal. It is a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty, and as such, allows inspections of its nuclear processing facilities as well as its nuclear power plant. This is in stark contrast to Israel, a country known to possess hundreds of nuclear weapons, though it won't admit this, and which is not a signatory of the Non-Proliferation Pact. Indeed, Israel allows no inspections of its own nuclear facilities, including the Dimona Reactor where it makes plutonium for more bombs. Iran has no bombs, and isn't making any, yet it is threatened with war if it won't agree not to do something it already is not doing, and if it won't stop doing something it has every legal right to do– namely to refine nuclear fuel, as many countries, from Japan and Taiwan to Brazil and Germany do all the time with nobody making a fuss about it.
Let's be clear here. Making a threat to attack a country that does not pose an imminent threat — and since Iran a) has no nuclear bomb and b) is known not to have a bomb-making program (something even the CIA confirms) it is no imminent threat — is a war crime under the UN Charter, to which the US is a signatory. It is one of the so-called Crimes Against Peace, which since the Nuremberg Tribunal have been called the greatest of all war crimes, since all other war crimes like the murder of civilians or torture derive from.
That is to say that even as Obama finally makes one move in line with the hoped for promise of the Nobel Committee in awarding him a Peace Price before he had done anything at the start of his first term, he is grievously mocking them and the award they gave him by committing the worst kind of war crime.
This should not surprise us. President Obama has become one of the great war-mongers of our history, presiding over an illegal war against Libya, another against Somalia, a third against Syria and now a fourth against Yemen. He is pressing towards war against Russia by moving US forces up close to the Russian Border in Estonia, Ukraine and elsewhere in Eastern Europe while imposing sanctions on Russia that are expressly aimed at "regime change" targeting President Vladimir Putin. He has more recently absurdly labeled Venezuela a "national security threat" to the US, earning the enmity of almost the entire Latin American region, save only the US puppet state of Panama. He has continued to have US forces occupy Afghanistan, where they maintain a pro-US puppet regime in power. And of course he persists in personally overseeing a drone war campaign against myriad nations — all of it illegal — and in terms the numbers of its civilian victim slaughter, an ongoing war crime of immense proportions.
So for the sake of Iran and humanity, one small cheer for the tentative agreement reached with Iran to limit their nuclear program. Let's all hope that the agreement survives death by a thousand cuts in both Tehran and Washington.
But let's not go overboard in praising the president, who remains an insult to the Nobel Peace Price, a bloody killer of innocent men, women and children, and a blight on America's reputation around the world.

ये देखिए... एक ओर पूरे मीडिया को जनरल साहब ने ‪#‎presstitute‬ में फंसा रखा है तो दूसरी ओर उनकी प्‍यारी फौज की संगीनों का दायरा कुछ नए इलाकों तक फैल गया है। कितनी मज़ेदार बात है कि 27 मार्च को गृह मंत्रालय ने समूचे अरुणाचल प्रदेश को ''अशांत'' क्षेत्र घोषित करते हुए सशस्‍त्र बल (विशेषाधिकार) अधिनियम यानी ‪#‎AFSPA‬ को विस्‍तारित करने का आदेश जारी किया था लेकिन यह खबर हम तक दस दिन बाद पहुंची है (6 अप्रैल को प्रकाशित)। आखिर क्‍यों?

ज़रा याद करिए कि मार्च के आखिरी हफ्ते में यह देश कहां फंसा हुआ था। योगेंद्र यादव और प्रशांत भूषण को 28 मार्च की बैठक में आम आदमी पार्टी से निकाला गया था जिसकी चर्चा दो दिन पहले से मीडिया में जारी थी। विश्‍व कप क्रिकेट का फाइनल भी उसी दौरान था। अगले पांच दिनों तक यही मुद्दा छाया रहा। अचानक गिरिराज सिंह ने सोनिया गांधी पर बयान दे दिया और सब लोग उसमें फंस गए। फिर अचानक राष्‍ट्रीय छुट्टियां हो गईं और ईस्‍टर के दिन चुपके से जमीन लूट अध्‍यादेश ला दिया गया। यह हफ्ता शुरू हुआ ही था कि कल 25 लोगों को तेलंगाना और आंध्र में सीधे गोली ही मार दी गई। गोली को सरकार के गले में अटकने से बचाने के लिए जनरल साहब और अरनब गोस्‍वामी काम आए। कश्‍मीर में भाजपा की अर्द्धांगिनी पीडीपी के मुखिया आफ्सपा को हटाने का राग अलापते रहे जबकि यह उत्‍तर-पूर्व में फैल गया।

पता नहीं कौन लोग हैं जो इसे पत्रकारिता का स्‍वर्णिम काल कहते हैं। पता नहीं कैसे लोग हैं जो सूचना क्रांति का राग गाते हैं। सब झूठे हैं।

Vyalok के लिखे स्‍टेटस पर कमेंट करने के दौरान बहुत दिनों बाद दिल्‍ली की एक आंदोलनकारी महिला द्वारा बरसों पहले बस्‍तर के आदिवासियों के बारे में जतायी गयी चिंता याद आ गई। उसकी इतनी इम्‍प्रेसिव भाषा थी कि मैं आज तक सही कोट कर सकता हूं:

"There is so much गरीबी out there... you know? Those गरीब्‍स are being hunted down by state and militia and they used to बरसाओफाइ गोलियां at them just like anything... I was तो you know, so much scared at that scene... seems they have lost all their mind... बिलकुल पागल हो गए हैं सारे... भारतीय सामाजिक क्रांति के जनक कहे जाने वाले, राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा ज्योतिबा फुले को सत्-सत् नमन्..........!



जोतिबाराव गोविंदराव फूले (जन्म– 11 अप्रैल 1827, परिनिर्वाण– 28 नवम्बर 1890), ज्योफतिबा फूले के नाम से प्रचलित 19वीं सदी के एक महान भारतीय विचारक, समाजसेवी, लेखक, दार्शनिक तथा क्रान्तिकारी कार्यकर्ता थे। सितम्बर 1873 में इन्होंने महाराष्ट्र में 'सत्य शोधक समाज'नामक संस्था का गठन किया। महिलाओं व दलितों के उत्थान के लिए इन्होंने अनेक कार्य किए। समाज के सभी वर्गो को शिक्षा प्रदान करने के ये प्रबल समथर्क थे।
महात्मा ज्योतिबा फूले का जन्म 1827 ई. में पुणे में हुआ था। उनका परिवार कई पीढ़ी पहले सतारा से पुणे में फूलों के गजरे आदि बनाने का काम करने लगा था। इसलिए माली के काम में लगे ये लोग 'फूले'के नाम से जाने जाते थे। ज्योतिबा ने कुछ समय पहले तक मराठी में अध्ययन किया, बीच में पढ़ाई छूट गई और बाद में 21 वर्ष की उम्र में अंग्रेजी की सातवीं कक्षा की पढ़ाई पूरी की। इनका विवाह 1840 में सावित्रीबाई से हुआ, जो बाद में स्वायं एक मशहूर समाजसेवी बनीं। दलित व स्त्री -शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में दोनों पति-पत्नीउ ने मिलकर काम किया।

11 अप्रैल, 1827 को महाराष्ट्र में सतारा जिले के खानबड़ी गांव में गोविन्द राव माली के घर ज्योतिबा फूले का जन्म हुआ। ज्योतिबा ने बड़ी लगन और मनोयोग से एक मराठी पाठशाला में अपनी पढ़ाई शुरू की। लेकिन उन दिनों जातिवाद, रूढ़िवादिता आदि संकुचित विचारधाराओं के चलते कट्टरपंथी हिन्दुओं के कारण ज्योतिबा को पाठशाला छोड़नी पड़ी। ज्योतिबा अपने परिवार के कार्य में पिता का हाथ बटाने लगे। इसी बीच सन् 1840 में ज्योतिबा का विवाह सतारा जिले के नाय नामक गांव की सावित्री बाई से कर दिया गया। लम्बे प्रयासों के बाद लोगों ने गोविन्द राव को अपने कुषाग्र और प्रतिभाशाली बेटे को आगे पढ़ाने के लिए राजी कर लिया। तीन वर्ष के बाद ज्योतिबा एक बार फिर स्कूल जाने लगे। लेकिन इस बार उन्होंने मराठी के बजाए मिशनरी स्कूल में प्रवेश लिया।
पेशवा बाजीराव द्वितीय के शासन काल में उन दिनों किसानों-मजदूरों पर क्रूर अत्याचार किये जाते थे। उनके बच्चों के शरीर पर उबलता तेल डाला जाता था। किसानों-जदूरों की पीठ पर शिलाखण्ड रखे जाते थे। किसानों-मजदूरों को जलते तवों पर खड़ा किया जाता था। महिलाओं की स्थिति दयनीय थी। बचपन में शादी हो जाती थी।
पढ़ाई – लिखाई से दूर रखा जाता था। विधवाओं का मुंडन करा दिया जाता था। दलितों – अछूतों की स्थिति पशुओं से भी बदतर थी। पढ़ने – लिखने और पूजा-पाठ करने तथा ईश्वर के दर्शन करने की सख्त मनाही थी। उनको अपनी पीठ के पीछे झाडू बांधकर चलना पड़ता था, ताकि उनके पद चिन्ह मिट जाए। उन्हें जमीन पर थूकने आदि की मनाही थी, इसके लिए वे अपने गले में थूकदान लटका कर चलते थे।
हिन्दू धर्म की ऊंच-नीच और जांत-पांत की इन अमानवीय स्थितियों ने ज्योतिबा के मन को विचलित कर दिया। उन्होंने संकल्प लिया कि वे महिलाओं, पिछड़ों, दलितों और अछूतों को समाज की मुख्य धारा में लाकर राजनैतिक, शैक्षणिक, सामाजिक और आर्थिक समानता पर आधारित एक शोषण रहित समाज बनायेंगे। अपने संकल्प को मूर्त्तरूप देने के लिए 1848 में ज्योतिबा ने महिलाओं और अछूतों के लिए पूना में एक विद्यालय खोला। देश में इस प्रकार का यह पहला विद्यालय था।
महिला शिक्षक की कमी को पूरा करने के लिए ज्योतिबा ने पहले स्वयं अपनी पत्नी सावित्री बाई को पढ़ाया। सावित्री बाई ने शिक्षित होने पर विद्यालय में पढ़ाना शुरू कर दिया। सावित्री बाई को देश की 'पहली महिला शिक्षिका'बनने का गौरव प्राप्त है। महिला और अछूतों की पढ़ाई को पाप समझने वाले सनातनी लोगों ने फूले दम्पत्ति को महिला और अछूतों को शिक्षा देने के काम से रोकने के अनेकों प्रयास किये। उन पर पत्थर, गोबर आदि फेंके और गाली दी। पर ज्योतिबा के संकल्प के आगे यह सब बेकार गया। सनातनी लोगों ने अपने अंतिम प्रयास के रूप में ज्योतिबा के पिता गोविन्द राव को डरा-धमका और समझा-बुझाकर उनके द्वारा ज्योतिबा और सावित्रीबाई को घर से निकलवा दिया। अनेकों कठिनाइयों के कारण फूले दम्पत्ति को अपना विद्यालय बन्द करना पड़ा। लेकिन अपने सुधारवादी ब्राह्मण मित्र सदाशिव बल्लाल गोविन्दे और मुंशी गफ्फार बेग की मदद से ज्योतिबा ने अपना विद्यालय फिर से शुरू कर दिया।एक और ज्योतिबा विद्यालयों की संख्या बढ़ाते रहे, दूसरी ओर उन्होंने मजदूरों और किसानों को अपने अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक बनाते हुए, उन्हें वे संगठित करने लगे। ज्योतिबा ने उनको सहकारिता और ट्रस्टीशिप अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
ज्योतिबा के अनुसार ईश्वर की पूजा के लिए किसी विशेष व्यक्ति की आवश्यकता नहीं है और नहीं किसी विशेष स्थान मन्दिर आदि की। धर्म-ग्रन्थ ईश्वर द्वारा बनाए नहीं हो सकते। शिक्षा– पुरूष एवं नारी दोनों के लिए जरूरी हैं धर्म का उद्देश्य मात्र आत्मिक विकास करना ही नहीं मानवता की सेवा करना भी है। इन्हीं विचारों को आधार बनाकर ज्योतिबा ने 1873 में 'सत्य शोधक समाज'की स्थापना की। उनके जीवन का एकमात्र लक्ष्य-न्याय और मानव अधिकारों के लिए संघर्ष बन गया था।
मजदूरों और किसानों की आवाज को मजबूत और 'सत्य शोधक समाज'के प्रचार करने के लिए जनवरी, 1877 से उन्होंने 'दीनबन्धु'नाम से एक अखबार निकालना शुरू कर दिया। 1882 में बाल गंगाधर तिलक और गोपाल गणेश आगरकर ने अपने अखबारों– 'मराठा'और 'केसरी'में कोल्हापुर रियासत और अंग्रेज एजेन्ट के कारनामों का खुलासा किया, इसके दण्ड स्वरूप दोनों को 4 मास की सजा हुई। ज्योतिबा ने दोनों की आर्थिक मदद करवाई तथा रिहाई के बाद जगह-जगह पर तिलक और आगरकर के स्वागत में अनेकों सभाएं आयोजित करवाईं। 
1885 में कांग्रेस की स्थापना के समय ज्योतिबा ने अनेक सभाओं में लोगों को, कांग्रेस का प्रचार करते हुए उसके कार्य को समझाया। मार्च, 1888 में महारानी विक्टोरिया के पुत्र ड्यूक ऑफ कनॉट की भारत यात्रा पर पूना में एक भोज का आयोजन किया गया। वहां ज्योतिबा एक गरीब किसान के वेश में पहुँचे और ड्यूक ऑफ कनॉट के सामने साहसपूर्वक भारत की सही तस्वीर रखते हुए कहा कि वे अपनी माँ (महारानी विक्टोरिया) से जाकर कहें कि असली भारत देहात और गांवों में बसता है, यहां के निवासी गरीब ही नहीं, अशिक्षित और अनपढ़ भी है, पहले इन्हें शिक्षित बनाने की आवश्कता है। ज्योतिबा द्वारा समाज के तमाम पिछड़े वर्ग को शिक्षित और जागरूक बनाने के उनके आंदोलन के 40 वर्ष पूरा होने के उपलक्ष्य में मई, 1888 में बम्बई में एक विशाल जन समुदाय के बीच ज्योतिबा को 'महात्मा'की उपाधि से विभूषित किया गया। ज्योतिबा तब 61 वर्ष के हो चुके थे। जुलाई, 1888 में ज्योतिबा का लकवे के कारण शरीर का दाहिना हिस्सा बेकार हो गया। अपने उद्देश्य के प्रति समर्पित ज्योतिबा ने बायें हाथ से काम करना शुरू कर दिया। इस दौरान ज्योतिबा ने अपना ग्रन्थ 'सार्वजनिक सत्य धर्म'बायें हाथ से लिखकर पूरा किया।

जुलाई, 1888 को लकवे से ज्योतिबा ठीक नहीं हो सके। दिसम्बर, 1888 में उन पर लकवे का दूसरी बार हमला हुआ। इससे ज्योतिबा निढाल हो गए और अन्ततः 28 नवम्बर, 1890 को वे चिर निद्रा में लीन हो गये। एक दिव्य ज्योति परमात्मा में विलीन हो गई। महात्मा फूले के सम्मान में किए गए प्रमुख कार्य-

महात्मा फूले के आंदोलन में सावित्री बाई का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण योगदान तब हुआ, जब उन्होंने अपने पति के निधन के बाद ''सत्य शोधक समाज''का 1891 से लेकर 1897 तक सफल नेतृत्व किया। सावित्री बाई प्रतिभा सम्पन्न लेखिका एवं कवियित्री थीं। उनका पहला कविता संग्रह''काव्य फूले''नाम से 1854 में प्रकाशित हुआ।

श्री 420 (1955) बॉलीवुड फिल्म राज कपूर द्वारा निर्मित, राज कपूर और नरगिस अभिनीत व राज कपूर के निर्देशन में बनी है। संख्या 420 धोखाधड़ी के अपराध के लिए सजा का प्रावधान है जो भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 420 को संदर्भित करता है, इसलिए, "श्री 420" एक बेईमान के लिए एक अपमानजनक शब्द है। फिल्म में राज व उसके सफलता के सपनों के साथ बंबई में आने पर बनी है, जो एक गरीब लेकिन शिक्षित अनाथ पर केंद्रित है। कपूर का किरदार भारी चार्ली चैपलिन की 'थोड़ा आवारा " से ज्यादा प्रभावित है, अपनी फिल्म आवारा (1951) में कपूर के किरदार की तरह ही हैं। यह ख्वाजा अहमद अब्बास द्वारा रचित तथा संगीत शंकर जयकिशन की टीम द्वारा रचा गया था। गीत शैलेन्द्र द्वारा लिखे गए थे।

श्री 420 के इस गाने पर हमारा ध्यान अस्सी के दशक के मध्य हमारे बड़े भाई नीलाभ ने दूरदर्शन पर  प्रदर्शित अपने चार टुकड़ों के सीरियल में खींचा था।फिल्म श्री 420 में 'मुड़-मुड़ के न देख मुड़-मुड़ के'डांस सीन में जो गाउन नादिरा ने पहना था, उसकी डिजाइन भानु ने की थी। फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में इस गाने के साथ भानु भी लाइम लाइट में आ गई। 1955 में जब यह फिल्म रिलीज हुई,उस वक्त मेरा गांव बसंतीपुर बसा भी न था।1956 में हुए शरणार्थी आंदोलन की फसल है बसंतीपुर जो आज भी लहलहाये है।उस गांव के बसने के पहले साल में मेरा जन्म हुआ।लेकिन यह फिल्म और यह गाना भारतवर्ष में मुनाफावसूली के शेयरबाजारु सत्ता वर्ग का बेहतरीन फिल्मांकन है।


राजकपूर की फिल्म श्री 420 का यह गाना  आज के भारत के जनमानस को जितना सही तरीके से अभिव्यक्त करता है,वैसा कोई विश्लेषण नहीं कर सकता।जिस शेयर बाजार के लूटखसोट को श्री 420 का कथा परिदृश्य बानाया था  बालीवूड के सबसे बड़े शोमैन ने ,आज वह शेयर बाजार ही इस सोने की चिड़िया का वर्तमान और भविष्य है।


नाचती गाती दिलकश नादिरा अब भारत की सत्ता है,जो आम जनता को मुड़ मुड़कर देखने की इजाजत नहीं देती और देश की आत्मा को  इसतरह कयामती बेरहमी से कुचल दिया जा रहा है।


भारतीय लोक गणराज्य और इसकी अर्थव्यवस्था विदेशी रेटिंग एजंसियों के हवाले,वही नीतियां बना रही हैं,बिगाड़ रही हैं-मोदी उनकी अश्वशक्ति है।

देश के लिए मुद्दा अरविंद केजरीवाल ,योगेन्द्र यादव,प्रशांत भूषण ,नरेन्द्र मोदी,राहुल गॉधी,लालू यादव,मुलायम सिंह यादव या नीतीश कुमार नहीं हैं,देश के लिए मुद्दे हैं- आत्महत्या करते किसान,भूखों मरते आदिवासी,करोड़ों बेरोज़गार,अर्थहीन होती शिक्षा,विदेशी कंपनियों का देश में अनर्थकारी दखल,विकास के नाम पर पूजीपतियों का विकास,नृशंस होती चेतना,हर महकमे में फैला भ्रष्टाचार ,देश का धर्म-व्यवसायी।

इन मुद्दों के समाधान के लिए किसके पास नीतियाँ हैं?नहीं हैं तो उन नीतियों को बनाने और व्यवहारिक धरातल पर उतारने की चुनौती है।यह चुनौती पढ़े-लिखे लोगों,किसानों,छात्रों ,नौजवानों को स्वीकार करनी पड़ेगी।किसी के पीछे ढोल बजाने की ज़रूरत नहीं है।

यह समझने की बेहद जरुरत है कि अंध राष्ट्रवाद पर संघ परिवार का एकाधिकार नहीं है,तमाम माध्यमों पर अब तक जिनका दखल रहा है,जो उन माध्यमों के घोषित अघोषित मसीहा वृंद रहे हैं, अंध राष्ट्रवाद और हिंदुत्व की धर्मनिरपेक्षता के जरिये भारतीय जनमानस को मुक्तबाजारी धर्मोन्मादी राष्ट्रवाद के शिकंजे में फंसाने की सारी उपलब्धि उनकी है।


संघ परिवार को उनका आभार मानना चाहिए।


हमारा चूंकि भाषा,साहित्य,कला और तमाम माध्यमों,विधायों में उन महामहिमों के फतवों, नियमतों,रहमतों,सौदर्यशास्त्र और व्याकरण से कुछ लेना देना नहीं है,चूंकि हम नैनीताल में इस दुनिया के सबसे खूबसूरत स्त्री पुरुषों से जनपक्षधर साहित्य कला भाषा का पाठ लेते रहे हैं,इसलिए हमें उभयलिंगी पाखंडी शिखंडी मौकापरस्त हस्तीमुखी गैंडाचर्मी हस्तमैथुन विशेषज्ञों के खिलाफ खुले युद्ध से कोई परहेज नहीं है।


चाहे कोई नाराज हो या खुश हम सच को सच कहेंगे।


हम बार बार जनपक्षधर ताकतों और जनपक्षधर मीडिया के साथ खड़े होने की बात कर रहे हैं।


ग्रीन पीस के लाइसेंस निलंबित हो जाने पर भी हमारे मित्रों को होश नहीं है कि भारत में अब पर्यावरण और अर्थव्यवस्था पर चर्चा राष्ट्रद्रोह माना जा रहा है और सैन्यराष्ट्र के मुकाबले हममें से किसी की औकात इस मुक्तबाजार के खिलाफ अकले लड़ने की नहीं है।


जितनी जल्दी हम इसे मान लें और जितनी जल्दी हम गोलबंद होने की हरसंभव पहल अपनी तरफ से करें,उतना ही बेहतर है।


अब वैकल्पिक मीडिया की सीधी लड़ाई कारपोरेट मीडिया से है।


अब तय करना ही होगा कि कौन जनपक्षधर है और कौन अपनी मसीहाई की आड़ भारतीय पत्रकारिता को चकलाघर बनाता रहा है,उन उजले चेहरों को बेनकाब करने की हमारी मुहिम अब किसी कीमत पर रुकने वाली नहीं है।

देश और जनमानस कैसे सिरे से बदल गया है,उसको समझाने के लिए यह आप बीती।


मैं सात को गांव केउटिया जाकर अपने बुआ के परिवार में दो दिनों तक रहा और वहां शेयर बाजार के अलावा कुछ भी न देखा।कुछभी नहीं।बाकी देश का नजारा भी कमोबेश यही हो गया है।


मेरे पिता,मेरे ताउ और मेरे चाचा ही हमारे खानदान में शरणार्थी बने हैं।यानी हमारे चार दादाओं में से तीसरे उमेश विश्वास के तीनों बेटे शरणार्थी बने।मेरे पिता भारत विभाजन से पहले तेभागा आंदोलन के सिलसिले में सीमापार आ गये थे और विभाजन के वक्त हमारे ताउ और चाचा बंगाल पुलिस में सेवारत थे।फिर भी तीनों राणाघाट शरणार्थी शिविर में पहुंचकर शरणार्थी सैलाब में कैसे पहुंच गये,यह बिखरी हुई कड़ियों की कथा है।


बाकी तीनों दादाओं की संतानें उस पार जैशोर के नड़ाइल इलाके की पुश्तैनी संपत्ति के बदले उत्तर 24 परगना के विभिन्न इलाकों में जमीन और घर खरीदकर बस गयीं।


हमारी बुआ श्रीमती भाई बहनों में सबसे बड़ी थीं। वे अपने परिवार के साथ नैहाटी के पास केउटिया गांव जो महान साहित्यकार बंकिम चंद्र के ससुराल नारायणपुर का हिस्सा है,में बस गयीं और उनके एकमात्र पुत्र निताई सरकार हमारे बड़े भाई साहेब हैं।


जब मैं तीसरी में पढ़ता था,तभी रोजाना खबार पढ़ने की लत लग जाने और चाचा के दिखाये मार्ग पर विश्व साहित्य में रम जाने और पिता के जनपक्षधर सामाजिक सक्रियता की वजह से सामाजिक यथार्थ से टकराते रहने की आदत से भयंकर पढ़ाकू हो गया था।


मैं पेड़ पर बैठकर या भैंस की सवारी करते हुए किसी भी हालत में पढते रहने की आदत से मजबूर था।


जब पढ़ने को कुछ न मिलता था,तब बांग्ला पंजिका के पुराने सारे अंक के तिथि नक्षत्र का विवेचन भी पढ़ लेता था।


उसी बीच तब तीसेक साल के हमारे दादा निताई सरकार बंसतीपुर पहुंचे।


मैं चूंकि अपनों से पढ़ने के लिए किताबें मांगता रहता था और घर आने वाले तमाम सज्जनों के दिये पैसों,छात्रवृत्ति परीक्षाएं पास करते रहने से मिले पैसों और थोड़ा बहुत जेब खर्च के लिए दिये गये पैसों से किताबें ही खरीदता था,तो भाई साहेब से भी मैंने किताबें खरीद देने के लिए कहा।


तो उनने हैरतअंगेज ढंग से मेरे सामने चुनौती खड़ी कर दी रवींद्रनाथ पढ़ने से क्या होगा अगर तुम रवींद्र नाथ बन नहीं सकते।इतना पढ़ते रहते हो  तो लिखा भी करो।


इसतरह मेरे लिखने की शुरुआत हो गयी।


दादा निताई सरकार ने भीरी संघर्ष किये। वे शरणार्थी न थे और न उनने पारिवारिक संपत्ति के बदले संपत्ति अर्जित की।उन्होंने पूरी जवानी मजदूरी करते बितायी।


कोलकाता के बड़ा बाजार में इसी दरम्यान शेयर बाजार में सक्रिय कुछ कारोबारी उनके मित्र बने।साठ के दशक से वे शेयर बाजार में सक्रिय हैं।बंगाल में नर्सरी और हैचरी व्यवसाय शुरु करने वाले वे पहली पीढ़ी के कारोबारी हैं।आठवें दशक तक वे जूट का कारोबार करते थे और केउटिया में उनके घर जूट का वह गोडाउन अब भी है।


मेहनत मजदूरी और कारोबार के साथ साथ कविता और गीत लिखना दादा की रचनात्मक अवदान है।


हम जब 1980 में धनबाद पहुंचे तो छुट्टी मिलते ही बसंतीपुर जाना असंभव देख केउटिया चला आता था।


हमारी भाभी अविभाजित बंगाल के सबसे लोकप्रिय लोककवि विजय सरकार की पोती हैं।विजय सरकार भी नड़ाइल जैशोर के हैं।


लोककवि विजय सरकारभी नड़ाइल छोड़कर केउटिया आ बसे और आखिरी सांस तक रचनात्मक बने रहे।


अस्सी के दशक में अचानक जूट संकट पैदा हो जाने से किसानों को भुगतान करते हुए दादा की हालत बेहद खराब हो गयी।


तब पड़ोस के गांव के ईसप मियां अपने खेत की सब्जियों से लेकर राशन पानी तक भाभी की रसोई में पहुंचा जाते थे,यह मैंने सालोंसाल देखा है।


ईसप भाई साहेब अब नहीं हैं,जिनके घर और उनके परिजनों के बीच मैं दादा के साथ जाता रहा हूं।तो दादा की संघर्ष यात्रा में केउटिया के मसजिदपाड़ा के अजहर का रात दिन का साथ रहा है।


दादा ने बच्चों को हिदायत दे रखी है कि वे रहे न रहे,अजहर को हमेशा परिवार का हिस्सा मान लिया जाये।उस घर के सारे फैसले अजहर की सलाह से तय होते रहे हैं।अजहर को वीटो मिला हुआ है।


अजहर आज भी उस परिवार में शामिल है।जबकि उसका अपना परिवार और उसके बच्चे सुखी और संपन्न हैं।सारे बच्चे प्रतिष्ठित हैं।


लोककवि निताई सरकार को आप किसी भी कोण से धर्मोन्मादी नहीं कह सकते।कवि विजयसरकार इस पार के हिंदुओं से कहीं ज्यादा उसपार के मुसलमानों में लोकप्रिय है,जिन्हेंमरणोत्तर हमारे भारत रत्न के बराबर एकुशे पदक दिया गया है।


विजयसरकार के जन्मोत्सव पर उस पार बंगाल के सारे लोककवि,साहित्यकार केउटिया चले आते हैं।


विजय सरकार पर बांग्लादेश में निरंतर शोध और शोध पर शोध हो रहा है।बंगाल में कुछ भी नहीं हो रहा है।


ममता दीदी को शायद ही लोककवि विजय सरकार के बारे में कुछ मालूम हो।


वही निताई दादा ने साबित कर दिया कि अब तक देश में कोई प्रधानमंत्री नहीं हुआ,असली प्रधानमंत्री अब हुआ है,जिसने बाजार से मुनाफावसूली के सारे रास्ते खोल दिये हैं।


उन्हें अफसोस है कि कंप्यूटर और इंटरनेट इतना लेट आये उनके जीवन में कि वे उन्हें साध नहीं सकते।वे अंग्रेजी नहीं जानते,लेकिन अंग्रेजी के सारे बिजनेस चैनल दिनभर देखते हैं तो बच्चे हिंदी के बिजनेस चैनल देखते हैं।दादा अंग्रेजी अखबारों के ग्राफिक्स देखकर बाजार की चाल भांपते हैं।


घर में सारे कमरों में टीवी पर बिजनेस चैनल के अलावा कुछ नहीं होता।


आलम यह है कि सुचित्रा उत्तम जोड़ी की फैन हमारी भाभी बरसों से कोई फिल्म देख नहीं पायी है।तो हमारी बहुएं भी सीरियल वगैरह नहीं देखतीं।दिनभर बाजार का मिजाज रसोई चौके के साथ साथ बच्चों की पढ़ाई लिखाई की उलझनों के साथ साथ समझने की कवायद करती रहती हैं।


दो दिनों तक बाजार के अलावा उस घर में हमने कुछ भी न देखा।


गनीमत यह है कि दादा को अब थोड़ा बहुत क्रिकेट का शौक भी लगा है और वे अस्वस्थ हैं तो मैं उनेका साथ ही ज्यादा वक्त बिता रहा था तो वे बीच बीच में समाचारों पर नजर रख रहे थे,बाजार की हलचल के मध्य। आईपीएल का पहला मैच भी हमने उनके साथ देखा और हर ओवर के अंतराल में बिजनैस चैनल चलता रहा।


दादा किसान हैं और आर्थिक सुधारों के जबर्दस्त समर्थक हैं।


वे जोतदार भी रहे हैं और सत्तर के दशक में वाम निशाने पर भी रहे हैं।वे वामविरोधी रहे हैंं और उनका पूरा परिवार ममता का सर्थक रहा है क्योंकि ममता धुर वाम विरोधी हैं।


मैं सावधानी से भी ममता की आलोचना कर रहा होता तो दादा गुस्से में आ जाते थे।


अब वहीं दादा ममता बनर्जी के निर्मम आलोचक हैं और मोदी के अंध विरोध के लिए बंगाल का कितना बड़ा सर्वनाश हो रहा है और बिना रोजगार के बंगाल के सारे लोग कैसे मजदूर बनते जा रहे हैं,इसका वे सिलसिलेवार विश्लेषण करते रहते हैं।


मेरे छोटे भतीजे का इकलौता बेटा अभी पांचवीं में पहुंचा है तो दादा और मेरे बड़े भतीजे ने उससे पूछा कि आपको क्या चाहिए,घर के माहौल के मुताबिक उसने अपने जन्मदिन पर शेयर सौ शेयर मांगे तो उसके लिए ब्लूचिप के सौ शेयर खरीद लिये गये।


दादा मानते हैं कि कृषि से अब देश का विकास नहीं हो सकता और विदेशी पूंजी और मुक्तबाजार में ही भारत का भविष्य है।मोदी चूंकि मुक्त बाजार के लिए सारी खिड़कियां खोल रहे हैं तो दादा उन्हें भारत भाग्यविधाता मान रहे हैं।


मजे की बात है कि वे बजरंगी ब्रिगेड के हिंदुत्व के सख्त खिलाफ रहे हैं।अब भी वे मानते हैं कि मोदी जिस विकासकी बात करते हैं,उसमें बाधक संघ परिवार का हिंदुत्व एजंडा है।इसलिए वे वोट भी भाजपा को देते नहीं है।


मोदी की नीतियों के प्रबल समर्थक और दीदी के प्रबल आलोचक होने के बावजूद वे वोट अब भी तृणमूल कांग्रेस को देते हैं।


बुआ की मृत्यु के बाद उस घर में बढ़ते हुए शेयर बाजार के परिवेश में मुझे खुद को बेहद अवांछित महसूस होता है।इसलिए कोलकाता में होने के बावजूद केउटिया आना जाना हो नहीं पाता।


दादा की निरंतर अस्वस्थता की वजह से इस बार लंबे अंतराल के बाद मैं वहां गया तो जैसे अपने बदलते हुए देश के मुखातिब हो गया मैं।इस देश के किसान और लोकजड़ों से जुड़े लोग भी अब कृषि में अपना भविष्य नहीं देखते,वे बाजार को अपनी नियति मानने लगे हैं।

इसके विपरीत प्रधानमंत्री की यह विदेश यात्रा का असली मकसद भारत में डिफेंस सेक्टर में अबाध विदेशी पूंजी का प्रत्यक्ष निवेश और लंबित अरबों बिलियन डालर के रक्षा सौदों के हरी झंडी देना है।


भारत पर ग्लोबल रेटिंग एजेंसियों का भरोसा बढ़ गया है। दिग्गज रेटिंग एजेंसी मूडीज ने भारत का आउटलुक स्टेबल से बढ़ाकर पॉजिटिव कर दिया है। साथ ही मूडीज ने भारत की बीएए3 रेटिंग भी बरकरार रखी है।

मूडीज के मुताबिक भारत सरकार से एक्शन की उम्मीद है और ग्रोथ बढ़ाने के लिए कदम उठाए जाएंगे। भारत की स्थिति दूसरे एशियाई देशों के मुकाबले काफी मजबूत है। हालांकि मूडीज ने बैंकों की एसेट क्वालिटी पर चिंता जताई है और लोन रिकवरी को काफी कमजोर बताया है।

अपने कस्टमर्स को घर तक डिलिवरी के लिए ई-रिटेलर कंपनी फ्लिपकार्ट ने मुंबई के डब्बावालों की मदद ली है। डब्बावाले 120 सालों से अधिक समय से लंच बॉक्स डिलिवर करने के धंधे में लगे हुए हैं।

मोदी सरकार अब कृषि कार्य में लगे लोगों को मैन्युफैक्चरिंग और सर्विसेज सेक्टर में ले जाना चाहती है। नीति आयोग के उपाध्यक्ष अरविंद पनगढ़िया ने एक सेमिनार को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि कृषि कार्य में लगे भारत के मजदूरों की करीब आधी संख्या को मैन्युफैक्चरिंग और सर्विसेज सेक्टर में शिफ्ट करने की जरूरत है।

दूसरी ओर,सुप्रीम कोर्ट किसानों के संगठनों की उस याचिका पर सोमवार को सुनवाई करने के लिए तैयार हो गया है, जिसमें इन संगठनों ने नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार द्वारा भूमि अधिग्रहण अध्यादेश फिर जारी किए जाने की वैधता का चुनौती दी है। किसानों के संगठनों की ओर से पैरवी करने वाली सीनियर वकील इंदिरा जयसिंह द्वारा याचिका पर तुरंत सुनवाई के लिए कहे जाने पर चीफ जस्टिस एच एल दत्तू और जस्टिस अरुण मिश्रा की बेंच ने कहा, 'हम इस पर सोमवार को सुनवाई करेंगे।'

पनगढ़िया ने कहा, 'अगर आप इस जनसंख्या को गरीबी में नहीं छोड़ना चाहते हैं तो लंबे समय के लिए आपको खेती मजदूरों को खेती कार्य से मैन्युफैक्चरिंग और सर्विस सेक्टर की जॉब में शिफ्ट करना होगा।'

उन्होंने कहा कि आर्थिक परिवर्तन की रणनीति बनानी होगी। उन्होंने यह कहा कि कृषि कार्य में लगे करीब 49 फीसदी लोग जीडीपी में सिर्फ 14 फीसदी योगदान ही देते हैं। उन्होंने कहा, 'आय के लिए इस सेक्टर पर 49 फीसदी लोग आश्रित हैं और सिर्फ 14 फीसदी ही आय कर पाते हैं। अगर आप गरीबों को तुरंत राहत पहुंचाना चाहते हैं तो कृषि के लिए कुछ अच्छे काम करने होंगे।'


उन्होंने विचार व्यक्त किया कि फार्म सेक्टर पर अधिक निर्भरता सरकार के लिए भी समस्या पैदा करती है क्योंकि जब ओलावृष्टि जैसी प्राकृतिक आपदा फसलों को तबाह कर देती है तो इसकी क्षमता को भी चुनौती मिलती है।

इसी बीच,आरबीआई गवर्नर की फटकार और सीएनबीसी-आवाज़ की मुहिम के बाद बैंकों ने लोन सस्ता करना शुरू कर दिया है। आरबीआई के कहने के बाद ही सही, देश के बैंकों ने ब्याज दरों में कटौती शुरू कर दी है।

देश के सबसे बड़े प्राइवेट बैंक आईसीआईसीआई बैंक ने बेस रेट में 0.25 फीसदी की कटौती कर दी है। अब आईसीआईसीआई बैंक का बेस रेट 9.75 फीसदी हो गया है। इसके पहले कर्ज घटाने की शुरुआत एसबीआई ने की। एसबीआई ने बेस रेट में 0.15 फीसदी की कमी का ऐलान किया है और बैंक का बेस रेट 9.85 फीसदी हो गया है। वहीं एचडीएफसी बैंक ने भी बेस रेट में 0.15 फीसदी की कटौती की है। एचडीएफसी बैंक का बेस रेट 9.85 फीसदी हो गया है।


मोतीलाल ओसवाल फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज के जॉइंट एमडी रामदेव अग्रवाल का कहना है कि वित्त वर्ष 2015 के रिटर्न या प्रदर्शन को वित्त वर्ष 2016 में दोहराना शायद मुश्किल हो सकता है। बाजार में मौजूदा स्तरों से गिरावट का खतरा काफी कम है। ज्यादा से ज्यादा 10 फीसदी की गिरावट मुमकिन है जबकि तेजी के दौर में बाजार 100 फीसदी तक बढ़ सकता है। अगले 3 से 5 साल में बाजार में पैसा बनाने के बेशुमार मौके मिलेंगे। बस सही मौकों को पहचानकर अभी से बाजार में निवेश करने की जरूरत है। ग्रोथ में सुधार होने पर बड़ी तेजी की उम्मीद है।

बाजार की आगे की तेजी के लिए जो ट्रिगर हैं उनमें कंपनियों के मुनाफे में सुधार, ग्लोबल संकेत और ब्याज दरों में कमी मुख्य हैं। अगर ये सब कारण मिल जाएं तो बाजार शानदार ऊंचाई पर जा सकते हैं। हालांकि छोटी अवधि में कंपनियों के मुनाफे में बड़े सुधार की उम्मीद नहीं है।


दूसरी ओर,आर्थिक सुधारों के मोर्चे पर इंडिया इंक का मोदी सरकार सेमोहभंग होने लगा है।टाइम्स न्यूज नेटवर्क के मुताबिक मोदी सरकार की चमक फीकी पड़ रही है और आज चुनाव होते तो एनडीए को 200 सीटें भी मुश्किल से मिलतीं।  ऐसा कोई मोदी विरोधी नहीं बल्कि उस उद्योग जगत का नुमाइंदा कह रहा है, जिसके लिए केंद्र सरकार न सिर्फ खूब सारी नीतियां लेकर आई है बल्कि विपक्ष का यह आरोप भी झेल रही है कि मोदी सरकार उद्योगपतियों की सरकार है।


4600 करोड़ रुपये के विशाल मैरिको ग्रूप के चेयरमैन हर्ष मरीवाला कहते हैं कि मोदी सरकार की चमक उतर रही है। मंगलवार को उन्होंने दो ट्वीट किए। पहले में उन्होंने कहा, 'नतीजे हासिल करके दिखाने और वादे निभाने जैसी मोदी सरकार की चमक उतर रही है। रफ्तार बढ़ानी होगी। उम्मीद है कि ब्याज दरें आज कम होंगी।'


इसके कुछ ही देर बाद उन्होंने एक और ट्वीट करके एक विस्फोटक खुलासा किया। उन्होंने कहा, 'एक बड़े नेता से सुना कि अगर आज चुनाव होते तो एनडीए को मुश्किल से 200 सीट जीत पाता।'


उद्योग जगत ने मोदी के प्रधानमंत्री बनने को लेकर जमकर जश्न मनाया था लेकिन अब बहुत से उद्योगपति हैं जो सरकार से निराश हैं। कहा जा रहा है कि कंपनियों के बोर्ड रूम्स में बातचीत बदल रही है। इंडिया इंक सिर्फ इसी बात से परेशान नहीं है कि मंजूरी मिलने में देर हो रही है। दबी जबान में ही सही लेकिन उद्योग जगत के सेनापति और कई समस्याओं का जिक्र करने लगे हैं। कइयों को हाल ही में टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट के नोटिसों ने परेशान किया है तो हिंदुत्व के एजेंडे को लेकर मच रहा है हल्ला भी उद्योग जगत को रास नहीं आ रहा है।


आरपीजी ग्रूप के चेयरमैन हर्ष गोयंका ने कहा, 'जब तक मुद्दों को निष्पक्षता से हल किया जाएगा, तब तक उद्योग जगत को परेशान होनी की जरूरत नहीं है। लेकिन एक धर्मनिरपेक्ष देश के रूप में हमें हर तरह की कट्टर गतिविधि से बचना चाहिए। इधर-उधर से आ रहे फासीवादी बयान समाज के सांप्रदायिक तानेबाने को तोड़ते हैं। इनसे सख्ती से निपटा जाना चाहिए।'


एक अन्य टॉप बैंकर ने पहचान जाहिर न करने की शर्त पर कहा कि वह हैरान हैं कि मोदी इन लोगों पर सख्ती क्यों नहीं दिखा रहे हैं।



 प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी फ्रांस की यात्रा पर हैं। इस यात्रा पर पूरे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय जगत की नजरें हैं। इसकी वजह है लड़ाकू विमान राफेल जिसे लेकर भारत और फ्रांस अब तक आखिरी समझौते तक नहीं पहुंच सके हैं। उम्मीद की जा रही है कि करीब 12 अरब डॉलर का ये सौदा इस बार परवान चढ़ सकता है। मोदी और फ्रांस्वां ओलांद के बीच इसे लेकर महत्वपूर्ण बातचीत होनी है। 2012 का ये सौदा अब तक क्यों लटका हुआ है और क्या है राफेल की खासियतें, जानने की कोशिश करते हैं।


आईबीएन लािव के मुताबिक कीमत पर है पेंच

अरबों डॉलर का राफेल सौदा लागत संबंधी मतभेदों को लेकर अटका पड़ा है जिसके तहत भारत को 126 राफेल लड़ाकू विमानों की आपूर्ति की जानी है। 50 हजार करोड़ रुपये के 126 राफेल लड़ाकू विमानों के सौदे में फ्रांसीसी कंपनी से भारत का पेंच 'कीमत'को लेकर है। भारत की ओर से जारी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय निविदा में निर्माता कंपनी ने प्रति विमान जो कीमत लगाई थी, सौदे को अंतिम रूप दिए जाने से ठीक पहले उसमें बढ़ोत्तरी करने के चलते मामला फंस गया।


फ्रांसीसी कंपनी ने दलील दी कि उसने जो कीमत निविदा में दी थी, उसमें तकनीकी हस्तांतरण की कीमत नहीं जोड़ी गई थी। कंपनी इसे जोड़कर ही करार पर मुहर लगाने को राजी थी। लेकिन रक्षा मंत्रालय को इस पर आपत्ति है। मंत्रालय का कहना है कि निविदा में घोषित कीमत से ज्यादा नहीं दी जाएगीष दोनों पक्ष इसी को लेकर अड़े रहे।


रक्षा मंत्रालय ने यूपीए सरकार के दौरान 31 जनवरी 2012 को राफेल को चुने जाने की घोषणा की थी। भारतीय वायु सेना ने कड़े मूल्यांकन के बाद दुनिया के छह जांबाज लड़ाकू विमानों में से यूरोफाइटर टाइफून और फ्रांस की कंपनी डशॉ के विमान राफेल पर मुहर लगाई थी। लेकिन जल्द ये सौदा कीमत को लेकर उलझ गया। मोदी की फ्रांस यात्रा के दौरान इस पर मुहर लगने की संभावना है।


क्या है राफेल

डेसॉल्ट राफेल फ्रांस का 2 इंजन वाला मल्टीरोल फाइटर एयर क्राफ्ट है। इस डिजाइन और निर्माण डेसाल्ट एविएशन ने किया है। 1970 में फ्रांसीसी सेना ने अपने पुराने पड़ चुके लड़ाकू विमानों को बदलने की मांग की। इसी क्रम में फ्रांस ने 4 यूरोपीय देशों के साथ मिलकर एक बहुउद्देशीय लड़ाकू विमान की परियोजना पर काम शुरू कर दिया। बाद में साथी देशों से मतभेद उभरने के बाद फ्रांस ने इस पर अकेले ही काम शुरू कर दिया।


हालांकि इस पर काम 1986 में ही शुरू हो गया था, लेकिन शीत युद्ध की समाप्ति के बाद बदले समीकरणों में बजट की कमी और नीतियों में अड़ंगों के चलते ये परियोजना लेट हो गई। 1996 में पहला विमान फ्रांसीसी वायुसेना में शामिल होना था लेकिन ये 2001 में शामिल किया जा सका। यह लड़ाकू विमान तीन संस्करणों में उपलब्ध है। इसमें राफेल सी सिंगल सीट वाला विमान है जबकि राफेल बी दो सीट वाला विमान है। वहीं राफेल एम सिंगल सीट कैरियर बेस्ड संस्करण है।


राफेल को फ्रांसीसी वायुसेना और जलसेना में 2001 में लिया गया। बाद में बिक्री के लिए इसका कई देशों में प्रचार भी किया गया, लेकिन खरीदने की हामी सिर्फ भारत और मिश्र ने भरी। राफेल को अफगानिस्तान, लीबिया, माली और इराक में इस्तेमाल किया जा चुका है। इसमें कई अपग्रेडेशन कर 2018 तक इसमें बड़े बदलाव की भी बात कही जा रही है।


राफेल की खासियत

ये एक मल्टीरोल फाइटर एयरक्राफ्ट है। अक्टूबर 2014 तक 133 विमानों का निर्माण किया जा चुका है। इस प्रोजेक्ट की लागत 62.7 बिलियन है। एक विमान की लागत 70 मिलियन आती है। इसकी लंबाई 15.27 मीटर है और इसमें एक या दो पायलट बैठ सकते हैं।


इसके विंग्स की लंबाई 10.8 मीटर, ऊंचाई 5.34 मीटर है। इसका खाली वजन 9500 किलोग्राम जबकि भरा हुआ वजन 14 हजार किलोग्राम पहुंच जाता है। इसकी अधिकतम भार उठाकर उड़ने की क्षमता 24500 किलोग्राम है जबकि ईंधन क्षमता 4700 किलोग्राम है।


राफेल की अधिकतम रफ्तार 1912 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा है। और ये 3700 किलोमीटर तक जा सकता है। इसमें 1*30 mm की एक गन लगी होती है जो एक बार में 125 राउंड निकाल सकती है। इसके अलावा इसमें घातक एमबीडीए मीआईसीए (MBDA MICA), एमबीडीए मेटेओर (MBDA Meteor), एमबीडीए अपाचे (MBDA Apache), स्टोर्म शैडो एससीएएलपी (Storm Shadow-SCALP EG) मिसाइलें लगी रहती हैं। इसमें थाले आरबीई2 (RBE2) रडार और थाले स्पेक्ट्रा वारफेयर सिस्टम लगा होता है। साथ ही इसमें ऑप्ट्रॉनिक सेक्योर फ्रंटल इंफ्रा-रेड सर्च और ट्रैक सिस्टम भी लगा है।

सभी केन्द्रीय,राज्य विश्वविद्यालयों में चुपके से फीस वृद्धि की खबरें है जिन्हें संसाधन निर्माण के नाम पर सरकार छात्रों और अभिभावकों पर थोप रही है । शिक्षा व्यवस्था की व्यधा आपसे छुपी नहीं है उसके बावजुद पूर्ण सरकार के व्यापारी रवैये ने देश की शिक्षा को बेचने का काम शुरू कर दिया है।

गांव भीतर गांव ( उपन्यास) / सत्यनारायण पटेल
सत्यनारायण पटेल हमारे समय के चर्चित कथाकार हैं जो गहरी नज़र से युगीन विडंबनाओं की पड़ताल करते हुए पाठक से समय में हस्तक्षेप करने की अपील करते हैं। प्रेमचंद-रेणु की परंपरा के सुयोग्य उत्तराधिकारी के रूप में वे ग्रामांचल के दुख-दर्द, सपनों और महत्वाकांक्षाओं के रग-रेशे को भलीभांति पहचानते हैं। भूमंडलीकरण की लहर पर सवार समय ने मूल्यों और प्राथमिकताओं में भरपूर परिवर्तन करते हुए व्यक्ति को जिस अनुपात में स्वार्थांध और असंवेदनशील बनाया है, उसी अनुपात में सत्यनारायण पटेल कथा-ज़मीन पर अधिक से अधिक जुझारु और संघर्षशील होते गए हैं। कहने को 'गांव भीतर गांव'उनका पहला उपन्यास है, लेकिन दलित महिला झब्बू के जरिए जिस गंभीरता और निरासक्त आवेग के साथ उन्होंने व्यक्ति और समाज के पतन और उत्थान की क्रमिक कथा कही है, वह एक साथ राजनीति और व्यवस्था के विघटनशील चरित्र को कठघरे में खींच लाते हैं। व्यवस्था से लड़ते हुए झब्बू ने अपनी जातिगत और लिंगगत पहचान से ऊपर एक चेतन कर्मशील योद्धा की छवि गढ़ी है। अपनी सीमाओं में जकड़ी ग्रामीण समाज की अति पिछड़ी दलित स्त्रियों को आर्थिक-नैतिक-वैचारिक रूप से सक्षम बनाने की मुहिम में वह स्वयं क्रमशः व्यक्ति से संस्था बनती गई है। लेकिन अपनी पूर्ववर्ती कथाकार-पीढ़ी की तरह सत्यनारायण पटेल रोमानी आदर्शवाद से अपनी लेखनी को आक्रांत नहीं होने देते। बाज़ार जब महानगरीय संस्कृति के कंधे पर सवार होकर गांवों को मिटाने के लिए तेजी से खेतों को निगलने लगा हो, चांदी का जूता जीवन और जगत के तमाम रहस्यों को खोलने की कुंजी बन गया हो, अपमान का गरल पीकर सत्ता-सुख का अमरत्व हासिल होता हो, तब ऊर्ध्वमुखी महत्वाकांक्षा चांद के पार सूरज से होड़ लेने की लिप्सा में कब रसातल की ओर उन्मुख हो जाए, पता नहीं चलता। सत्यनारायण पटेल रोमान और आदर्शवाद दोनों से सायास पल्ला बचाकर झब्बू के जरिए जितनी विश्वसनीयता से व्यक्ति के महानायक बनने की कथा कहते हैं, उतनी ही प्रामाणिकता से महानायक के भीतरी क्षरण की जांच भी करते हैं। झब्बू का अभ्युदय और पतन कथा से बाहर निकलकर समाज में एक बड़ी संभावना के पनपने और नष्ट हो जाने की त्रासदी कहता है, जिसे घटित करने में जितनी भूमिका व्यवस्था को इशारों पर नचाती उपभोक्तावादी संस्कृति की है, उतनी ही अपने भीतर खदबदाती लिप्साओं और बर्बरताओं की भी। जाहिर है उपन्यास 'गांव भीतर गांव'पाठक को अपने इस अनपहचाने 'स्व'को देखने की आंख देता है। तब रोशनी, राधली, जग्गा, श्यामू या दामू, संतोष पटेल, ठाकुर और विधायक आदि दो खेमों में बंटे पात्र नहीं रहते, अपने ही भीतर की निरंतर द्वंद्वग्रस्त मनोवृत्तियां बन जाते हैं।
कहना न होगा कि उपन्यास में एक-दूसरे को काटती, घुलमिल कर आगे बढ़ती घटनाओं का अंतर्जाल है; पात्रों का मेला है और उसी अनुपात में अंतस्संबंधों की कई-कई बारीकियां भी। मिट्टी की सांेधी गंध से महकती बोली-बानी पात्रों को चरित्र-रूप में साक्षात् उपस्थित भी करती है और लोक-जीवन की विश्वसनीयता को भी गहराती है। कहानियों में जिस बेलौस अक्खड़ अंदाज में सत्यनारायण पटेल अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज करा कर कथा-साहित्य को एक नई रंगत और रवानगी देते हैं, उसी की सतत् निरंतरता है उपन्यास 'गांव भीतर गांव', यानी अपने वक्त का अक्स।

काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय के संस्थापक मालवीय को एक तरफ भारत रत्न दिया जा रहा है तो वहीँ दूसरी तरफ विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों पर पीएसी द्वारा लाठिया चलवाई जा रही है | उन्हें हास्टल से बाहर कर दिया जा रहा है जबकि छात्रों की परीक्षाएं आ गयी है | इस तरह की घटनाएं बीएचयू के इतिहास में एकदम नई है |और यह एकदम शर्मसार कर देने वाली घटना है | दो -तीन वर्षों से जब से छात्रसंघ की मांग तेज हुयी तभी से बिरला बनाम ब्रोचा ,आर्ट्स बनाम साईंस या बीएचयू बनाम आईआईटी जैसे बांटों और राज करो के मामले को तूल दिया जा रहा है | यह पूरी तरह से प्रशासन प्रायोजित और लम्पट-गुंडों को सह देकर किया जा रहा है | इसमें आरएसएस के लोग भी शामिल है जिनकी गतिविधियों में इन सब घटनाओ से कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता बल्कि डेमोक्रेटिक माहौल होने से प्रभाव पड़ता है | अन्य इस तरह की पिछली घटनाओ में हम देख सकते है कि कोई छोटी आपसी झगड़े कि घटना होती है तो प्रशासन उसको तत्काल रोकने कि वजाय मूक दर्शक बना रहता है | आखिर क्या कारण है कि इनके सामने ही लम्पटो द्वारा गली-गलौज और मारपीट कि जाती है पर ये कुछ नहीं करते ? जब सारा मामला शांत हो जाता है तब कैंपस में पीएसी बुलाई जाती है छात्रों कि बुरी तरह पिटाई कि जाती है और सारा का सारा हास्टल खली करा दिया जाता है | कैम्पस को पूरी तरह से पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया जाता है | पुरे कैम्पस में खुलेआम गस्त करते है और दहशत का माहौल बनाते है | जब विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन फेल है तो क्या फर्क पड़ता है कि कैम्पस को पुलिस राज चलाये | आखिर वे कौन लोग सक्रिय है जो इन सब छोटी-मोटी घटनाओं को बढ़ा रहें है ? इस तथाकथित अराजकता का तर्क देकर प्रशासन द्वारा कैम्पस में तानाशाही स्थापित करता जा रहा है | केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय के परिसर का माहौल लोकतंत्र व ज्ञान के केंद्र के रूप में होना चाहिए पर यहाँ शाम होते ही गांव कि तरह अँधेरी रात में तब्दील हो जा रहा है | ९-१० बजे तक सेन्ट्रल व साइबर लायब्रेरी,सभी गेटो को बंद कर दिया जा रहा है |

इस घटना के मद्देनज़र भगत सिंह छात्र मोर्चा यह मांग करता है कि

प्रशासन कि विफलता को ध्यान में रखते हुए वीसी व प्रॉक्टर को बर्खास्त किया जाये |
कैम्पस से पीएसी को तत्काल बाहर किया जाये और कैम्पस में प्रवेश वर्जित किया जाये |
सभी छात्रों को तत्काल हॉस्टल सुविधा बहाल किया जाये |
कैम्पस में लोकतंत्र बहाल किया जाये |

इन मांगों को लेकर राष्ट्रपति को भी एक पत्र फैक्स किया गया है |

इस घटना को लेकर बीसीएम ने एक प्रेस वार्ता आयोजित किया और प्रेस विज्ञप्ति जारी किया |

হিন্দু হিন্দু হুক্কা হুয়াঃ 
এই বামুন নামক বৃত্তি জীবীরা কি হিন্দু? বহুকাল বামুনরা কিন্তু স্বীকারই করেনি যে তারা হিন্দু। মোগল সম্রাট আওরঙ্গজেব যখন হিন্দুদের উপর জিজিয়া কর ধার্য করেছিলেন তখন এই ঘটনা প্রকাশ হয়ে পড়ে। ঐতিহাসিক ডিডি কোসাম্বীর মতে ব্রাহ্মনেরা দাবী করে যে তারা বীজিত হিন্দু নয়। কেননা অতীতে তারা এদেশের মূল নিবাসীদের উপর জয় লাভ করেছিল এবং মোগল রাজত্ব কালেও তারা নানা সম্মানীয় পদে সমাসীন। তারা কোন মতেই আরবীয় ভাষ্য অনুযায়ী "কালাআদমি""গোলাম"বা চোর নয়। তারা আর্য। আর্যধর্মই তাদের মূল ধর্ম। এই সব প্রমান করার জন্য ব্রাহ্মনেরা দিস্তা দিস্তা দলিল প্রমান হিসেবে দাখিল করেছিল। এই ঘটনার পরে ব্রাহ্মনেরা জিজিয়া কর থেকে রেহাই পায়। এই ঐতিহাসিক ঘটনা উল্লেখ করার কারণ হল এই ব্রাহ্মণদের সম্মিলিত সংগঠনই এখন হিন্দু হিন্দু হুক্কা হুয়া জুড়ে দিয়েছে। এর বহু কারণ রয়েছে। কেননা হিন্দুই একমাত্র সামাজিক টুল যার মধ্য দিয়ে বামুনেরা ৮৫% মানুষকে গোলাম বা শূদ্র বানিয়ে রাখতে পারে এবং এই সামাজিক শোষণকে ধর্ম নাম দিয়ে বংশপরম্পরায় গণ্ডে পিন্ডে গিলতে পারে। হিন্দু সামাজিক ব্যবস্থা ধ্বংস হলে ব্রাহ্মন্যবাদ ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে তা তারা বিলক্ষণ জানে। তাই যেন তেন ভাবে হিন্দু ঠিকিয়ে রাখতে হবে। 
কিন্তু কী দিয়েছে এই হিন্দু? 
এই প্রসঙ্গে মাননীয় শরদিন্দু উদ্দীপন বাঁকুড়ার ছাতনা ব্লকে আমাদের একটি প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়েছিলেন। তিনটি গ্লাস নিয়ে তিনি যে পরীক্ষাটি আমাদের সামনে উপস্থিত করেছিলেন তার বর্ণনা দেওয়া হল। আশা রাখি এই পরীক্ষাটি থেকে এদেশের বামুনদের স্বভাব ও চরিত্র বুঝে নিতে আমাদের ভীষণ সুবিধা হবে। 
সরঞ্জাম হিসেবে তিনি ১) ৩টি কাচের গ্লাস ২) একটি চামচ ৩) এক টুকরো মাটি নিয়েছিলেন। ২টি গ্লাসে সুস্বাদু পানিয় জল নিয়ে তিনি আমাদের জানান যে এই জলই আমাদের সম্পদ। অন্য কোন তরল জলের স্থান নিতে পারেনা। এরপর তিনি দ্বিতীয় গ্লাসের মধ্যে মাটির ডেলাটি ফেলে দেন। মাটির ডেলাটি আস্তে আস্তে জলে গুলতে শুরু করে। একটি চামচ দিয়ে মাটির ডেলাটিকে ভাল করে জলের সাথে গুলে ফেলেন। সমস্ত গ্লাসের জল কাঁদাগোলা জলে পরিণত হয়। তিনি দেখান যে, মাটির মধ্যে থাকা আবর্জনা গ্লাসের উপরে ভেসে উঠেছে এবং মাটি একেবারে জলের সাথে গুলে মিশে গিয়েছে। গ্লাসটি তুলে ধরে তিনি একজন প্রতিনিধির কাছে দিয়ে সেটাকে খেতে বলেন। প্রতিনিধিটি এই কাদাগোলা জল খেতে অস্বীকার করে। তিনি জানান যে এটাই স্বাভাবিক যে এই জল খাওয়ার উপযুক্ত নয়। কিন্তু প্রথম গ্লাসের জল উপযুক্ত। কাঁদা গোলা জলের গ্লাসটি কিছুক্ষণ রাখার পরে দেখা যায় যে, গুলে যাওয়া কাঁদা গ্লাসের নিচে ধীরেধীরে জমা হচ্ছে এবং নোংরা জল উপরে দেখা যাচ্ছে। 
এরপর দ্বিতীয় গ্লাসটি হাতে নিয়ে তিনি জানান যে এই মাটির ডেলা হল সেই বিদেশী এজেন্ট যে নিজের নোংরা শরীর থেকে আবর্জনা সরানোর জন্য জলকে মাধ্যম হিসেবে ব্যবহার করেছে। কিছুটা সময় জলের সাথে মিশে গেছে আবার কাজ হাসিল করার পর নিজেকে আলাদা করে নিয়েছে। আর এই কাজের ফলে সুস্বাদু জীবনদায়ী জল দুষিত হয়ে গেছে। আমাদের দেশের ব্রাহ্মণ হল এই বহিরাগত মাটির ডেলা। যারা তাদের পাপ ধৌত করার জন্য আমাদের দেশ নামক স্বচ্ছ ক্ষেত্রে ঢুকে পড়েছে। ওদের পাপের আবর্জনা দিয়ে আমাদের জীবনটাকে ক্লেদাক্ত করে ফেলেছে। ওরা জানে যে আমাদের শ্রম ছাড়া ওরা গণ্ডেপিন্ডে গিলতে পারবে না। তাই আমাদের সাথে মিলে যাবার বাহানা করছে। কিন্তু কিছুতেই জাত বেজাতের গুমোর ছাড়তে পারছে না। এই হিন্দু হিন্দু হুক্কা হুয়া নিছকই এই বামনাদের বর্ণচোরা নাটক।

Just before local bodies' elections ahead,amidst intensified religious polarization campaign,RSS plays the Bengali Nationalist card yet again to use the Netaji ATM which it had been using since Jan Sangh Days and almost forgot since its Hindutva Avtar has taken over RSS.Thus,what you hear ringing out of West Bengal today as news breaks that the Nehru government was spying on Netaji Subhas Bose's family for some twenty years.


It is nothing new.Surveillance is the ultimate truth in DRONE, CIA, FBI, MOSSAD times.Hence,we had been opposing the NATO war plan against global humanity,the biomatric robotic cloned citizenship devoid of privacy as well sovereignty.


No Indian politician indulged in power politics has been hitherto concerned with blatant violation of human and civic rights for ethnic cleaning continued.

Not only politicians,the intelligentsia and the civil society,even those five star activists and great Indian Media Icons have been doing everything to justify the exclusion,ethnic cleansing of Indian masses since day first of power transfer to Nehru,the British Raj nominated first Prime minister whose democratic,secular,nonaligned gimmicks constituted and strengthened  the foundation of the Hindutva Zionist Manusmriti modern day free market India.


The episode should be read strictly in the light of Hinduization of Bengal and thus, we came to know suddenly that the Netaji family which itself indulged in Hindutva politics and aligned with the ruling hegemony,enjoying everything under the manusmriti regime now demands declassification of all Netaji Documents.The family living in the ivory tower since Netaji Exclusion never actully cared much for Netaji and always allowed to provoke Hindu imperialist nationalism by Hindutva Brigade.

NEW DELHI:  Intelligence Bureau kept relatives of freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose under close surveillance for two decades, most of which was during Jawaharlal Nehru's tenure as Prime Minister, according to archival material, which has set off a political controversy.

The Intelligence Bureau files declassified recently said Netaji's close relatives, including his two nephews Sisir Kumar Bose and Amiya Nath Bose - sons of his brother Sarat Chandra Bose - were spied upon for 20 years between 1948 and 1968.

Mr Nehru was Prime Minister for 16 of these 20 years.

he files, now with the National Archives, said the Bose family homes at 1, Woodburn Park and 38/2 Elgin Road, were kept under surveillance.

The Intelligence Bureau officials intercepted and copied letters written by the Bose family and even trailed them on foreign tours.

Netaji's family reacted to reports with "shock" and said it was a "poor reflection" on the quality of democracy at that time.

"Yes, it is a poor reflection on the quality of India's democracy in the first two decades that there was such invasion of privacy of freedom fighters. It is not just a family matter.

"The most disgraceful aspect of this surveillance is that private letters between my father and his aunt (Netaji's wife) were being opened and read and copied. It's a matter of great disrespect to the freedom struggle and freedom fighters," Sugata Bose, his grandnephew and Trinamool Congress lawmaker said.

"It's shocking to the family members. Now we know that under instructions from Pandit Nehru the government kept surveillance," said Chandra Kumar Bose, Netaji's other grandnephew.

Anuj Dhar, the author of 'India's Biggest Cover-up' had stumbled upon the files at the National Archives while researching on Bose, one of the foremost leaders of the freedom movement.

Netaji had quit Congress before Independence over differences with Mr Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi and launched an organised military resistance against the British after raising the Indian National Army.

The Congress on Friday found itself battling the charge that former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru subjected the kin of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to intense surveillance for more than two decades.


With BJP pouncing on two declassified files of the Intelligence Bureau on the snooping on Bose's nephews to suggest that Nehru was scared of the possibility of Bose's return after the legendary freedom fighter disappeared following an air crash in Taiwan, Congress alleged that the Modi government was engaging in a "sinister propaganda of selective leaks and half-truths to malign national icons".


The IB files, declassified by the Modi government, show that the Nehru regime mounted an aggressive surveillance on Bose's family members from 1948 till at least 1968. The snooping was focused on the two residences of the Bose family in Kolkata — 1 Woodburn Park and 38/2 Elgin Road. IB operatives intercepted all letters written by Bose's family members, and they were trailed whenever they stepped out.


There is also evidence to show IB personnel shadowed the siblings when they travelled out of Kolkata and abroad.


BJP saw the disclosure of the Nehru government's snooping on Bose's family members through the prism of the legendary rivalry between the two stalwarts. Nehru prevailed, largely because Mahatma Gandhi tipped the scales in his favour setting him on the path to become the first PM. Bose walked out of Congress but captured the national imagination by seeking to liberate the country through an armed struggle.


Netaji was feared killed after the aircraft carrying him crashed over Formosa (now Taiwan) in 1945, but the legend of his enterprise endured, leading many to believe that he had survived the crash and would resurface to take charge of the country.

"It raises questions ... because the leadership of Congress was not restricted to any one particular family. Congress should come clean on it," said BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli.


Commerce minister Nirmala Sitharaman alleged that snooping has been an essential component of Congress's governing style, citing examples of alleged snooping on former PM Indira Gandhi's daughter-in-law and referring to, without mentioning names, the reports that tabs were placed on Pranab Mukherjee when he was finance minister under UPA.

Congress fought back, saying the two IB reports were leaked as part of a conspiracy to defame "national icons". Interestingly, party spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi stressed that IB reports to the home minister and that allegation of snooping was also aimed against stalwarts who served as home ministers: including Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Lal Bahadur Shastri whom BJP has embraced as part of its pantheon, and C Rajagopalachari who is well regarded in saffron circles for his protest against state-controlled economic policy under Nehru and for his English translations of Ramayana and Mahabharata.


Singhvi also stressed that Bose's family was split over whether he survived the air crash, with one branch holding that he perished in 1945.


Other parties too reacted to the revelation, with JDU's KC Tyagi calling it "unfortunate if true" and BJD's Bhatruhari Mahtab saying, "Jawaharlal Nehru is portrayed as a true democratic leader but the manner in which Netaji's family was tracked for 20 years during his and Indira Gandhi's tenures, it shows how fragile this opinion was. Congress should apologise to the family of Netaji. What were they apprehensive about?"


Bose's family reacted with "shock". Sugata Bose, Netaji's grand nephew and TMC MP, who read the files, said, "Yes, it is a poor reflection on the quality of India's democracy in the first two decades that there was such invasion of privacy of freedom fighters. It is not just a family matter. The most disgraceful aspect ... is that private letters between my father and his aunt (Netaji's wife) were being opened and read and copied. It's a matter of great disrespect to the freedom struggle and freedom fighters."


According to the files, the IB documented all those who met Bose's kin. Handwritten notes in the files show that the sleuths regularly telephoned the IB headquarters and reported about their movements and meetings. The surveillance was focused on Netaji's nephews, Sisir Kumar Bose and Amiya Nath Bose. They were both sons of Sarat Chandra Bose, and close to Bose and had assisted him, including in Netaji's escape to Afghanistan in 1941.


IB reports also show that it kept close watch on the letters they wrote to their aunt and Netaji's wife, Emily Schenkl, in Austria.

A media report on Friday quoted Netaji's only child, Anita Bose-Pfaff, who is a Germany-based economist, as saying that she was startled by the revelations. She pointed out that her uncle Sarat Chandra Bose was politically active until the 1950s and disagreed with the Congress leadership. "But what surprises me is that my cousins could have been under surveillance," the report quoted her as saying.


Successive governments have refused to declassify documents on Bose. Even the Modi government seemed to toe that line. On December 17, 2014, MoS for home Haribhai Parthibai Chaudhary told Rajya Sabha that declassification of files on Netaji would impact India's relations with friendly foreign countries. However, he let it slip that the Modi government had in fact declassified two "top secret" files.

The government has launched an all out attack on Greenpeace. Not only has it launched a smear campaign, but also blocked foreign and domestic accounts to attempt to stop the campaigns that Greenpeace runs.

The MHA has acted to stop Greenpeace India's access to foreign funds and has even blocked some domestic bank accounts. The Delhi High Court in January had ordered that Greenpeace India be allowed to access funds sent by Greenpeace International. The court had also held that the MHA action to stop funds from Greenpeace International was 'untenable'.

The MHA's repeated moves to restrict our funding and the movement of our personnel are clear attempts to silence criticism and dissent. Instead of pursuing such diversionary tactics, the Government's commitment to 'sustainable and inclusive development' is better met by actually engaging with different viewpoints and solutions that are being offered. As an organisation registered to receive foreign funds we have been and will continue to remain transparent and in compliance of the FCRA.

  1. What does this mean for Greenpeace India? Is Greenpeace India blacklisted/ shutting down?

This means that GP India's permission to receive money from overseas is currently suspended. It does not mean that GP India itself has been shut down or will have to shut down. GP India gets nearly 70% of its income from domestic donations and will continue to operate on those funds even as it fights the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) suspension.

Greenpeace believes this is an escalation of the intimidation campaign that started with a "leaked" Intelligence Bureau report in June last year. It is the government using strong arm tactics to clamp down on dissenting voices in civil society. We have been vindicated in our position more than once in the courts. In fact, the Delhi HC held that the actions of the MHA in the Priya Pillai case were arbitrary and the charges against Greenpeace India were misconceived.

We will not only challenge the Ministry of Home Affairs in courts, but also continue to campaign fearlessly on the issues we work on. We work in India to ensure that this generation and future generations have clean air, safe food, standing forests, community rights are implemented and the threat of climate change is addressed. We will continue to work on this.

  1. Have Greenpeace India's domestic accounts been frozen as well?

Some of Greenpeace India's domestic accounts have been frozen as well. We believe there is absolutely no way this can be justified under the FCRA – it is an open threat to Greenpeace from the government and attempt to shut our work down. Greenpeace is receiving legal counsel and will challenge this in court.

  1. How has Greenpeace India been getting its funds?

Greenpeace India raises a majority of its funding from Indians – according to our provisional fundraising figures for FY 2014-15, INR 20.76 crore was donated to Greenpeace India by 77,768 Indian citizens – accounting for nearly 70% of total income.

4. Are Greenpeace India's foreign contributions illegal?

No! Greenpeace has been in operation in India since 2001 and we have followed the required norms under the FCRA and filed returns as prescribed. All the foreign grants have been deposited into the designated bank account and transfers for utilisation are made into the FCRA approved account only. Payments listed by the FCRA division in their show cause notice are to third parties or reimbursements to local accounts which is within the law.

  1. Why does Greenpeace India need foreign contributions?

 

Greenpeace is a global organisation that works on environmental protection and social justice. Greenpeace has over 40 offices across the world. The scale of the environmental challenge that we face is massive and requires a massive response. We live in a globalised world where, for better or worse, billions of dollars flow into the country by way of foreign investment. Much of this goes to activities that have serious environmental impacts. In such a scenario, it is hypocritical for the government to single out the relatively meagre amounts of foreign money that flow to legitimate organisations.

6. Why does Greenpeace India involve foreign activists in its campaigns?

We live in a globalised world and Greenpeace is a global organisation working for a safe and sustainable future for the planet. Environmental and social justice issues today are also global issues. Just as governments and corporations seek support and also provide learnings to other countries or branches of multinational companies – so does Greenpeace share skills and information across its offices. It is absurd that the government questions this.

7. Why is Greenpeace India being called a threat to economic security, why has the government accused you of 'protest creation'?

Greenpeace envisages a dream of a clean, green, healthy India, where every citizen has equal rights. Our campaigns strive to ensure that the development model followed is holistic and sustainable. Calling this "protest creation" or a threat to economic security is clearly a part of the smear campaign against Greenpeace by certain government agencies. There is no economic security in the absence of clean air, water, food and a liveable planet. It is every citizen's right to stand up and ensure that the fundamental rights guaranteed by the Indian constitution are not violated – this spirit is the very basis on which our country was founded. The government clearly has a different definition of development which is heavily pro-corporate instead of being pro-people, and is seeking to dismiss any criticism of its actions as "protest creation".

8. Did Greenpeace sponsor Channel 4 journalists' visit to Mahan forests? Did they illegally use an unmanned flying vehicle for shooting?

This is one of the many lies in the MHA report. In a response to Greenpeace, Hugo Ward, director of the program from Channel 4 denied the allegation. Reproduced below is the content of the email:

"Unreported World is a critically acclaimed television series funded entirely by Channel 4.  It is false to suggest that the trip made last year by our team was arranged or funded by Greenpeace.

The documentary in question is a balanced exploration of the impact of the Indian government's drive to help the country's development through widespread electrification. It includes an interview with Ramakant Tiwari, the CEO of Mahan Coal Corporation, Greenpeace activists and local villagers, many of whom have benefited from the recent arrival of electricity to their homes.

9. Did Greenpeace sponsor Pankaj Singh, when he contested elections from the anti corruption Aam Aadmi Party? Does Greenpeace have any links with AAP?

Greenpeace has no political affiliations. Pankaj Singh had resigned before contesting elections. Greenpeace had nothing to do with funding or in any way supporting his campaign in Singrauli.

Greenpeace does not endorse any political party or political candidates, nor does it donate money to or accept money from political parties. This applies equally to AAP, BJP or Congress. We do brief all political parties and their representatives on the issues that we work on.

10. Has Greenpeace India transferred money from the FCRA designated account to FCRA utilisation account, and from there to five other bank accounts, in violation of FCRA rules?

Our auditors have assured us that we have not violated any FCRA rules. We will be reiterating this in our response to the MHA notice. 11. Greenpeace engaged in political activities in violation of section 9 by using foreign contribution for foreigners to lobby for and influence the Indian government policies. It invited foreign activists like Emma Rachel Tranquility Gibson (UK national) for handling conflicts, prioritization and difficult decisions and her given task was Election Project as mentioned in terms of reference for her job.

We have no idea what the MHA is referring to – Emma Gibson worked with GP India for a few months, however she was not in charge of any so-called Election Project. In fact GP India did not then and does not now have any such Election Project. This appears to be another case of the MHA twisting or outright manufacturing facts to mislead the public.

Greenpeace International UK took very keen interest in promoting the growth of Greenpeace India Society ground level protest creation activities having sent 13 foreigners (9 UK, 3 US and one Australian nationals, all subsequently black listed for violating Visa rules), to train and equip Indian activists in protest creation. However, despite objections the flow of Greenpeace foreign 'experts' continued up to September 2014.

All foreign nationals who have worked with GP India have had necessary visas. Greenpeace, like any global organization, shares skills and learns from experiences in different parts of the world. We don't believe that it is a crime for people to exchange ideas and meet on issues that are of common interest.

It is laughable that the MHA refers to protest creation experts coming from abroad, if anything we Indians have a wealth of history in protesting injustice and in non violent civil disobedience. This is just more paranoia from the MHA. In this time and age, the nature of issues raised by the MHA is antiquated and not becoming of a democracy like India.

14. What about the issue of high salaries being disbursed to individuals? Is this against the objects of the charity?

Greenpeace believes that it should be in a position to pay people an amount that is line with what other international NGOs pay in India. We believe that good talent should also be able to work on issues of environment and social justice and we like to make this possible. However, we ensure that there is parity between the amount paid to the Executive Director and the lowest paid employee in the organization. Our directors and senior staff get paid at the lowest end of the market spectrum to keep parity within the staff in the organization.

Greenpeace believes that the issues the MHA raises on salaries and consultancies are absurd as it does not substantiate how this is a violation of the FCRA.

14. Who is Greg Muttit and why was he paid Euro 56951.16 per annum?

Greg Muttitt was an international colleague who was in India for a short period of time on a valid work visa. Greenpeace India has not made any payment to Greg Muttit, except to reimburse his travel, stay and related expenses in India. His salary of euro 56k approximately, was borne by Greenpeace International and not by Greenpeace India as he was their employee. There is no violation of sec 33 of the FCRA, as all the expenses here have been booked, included in our books and reported as required.

  1. Has Greenpeace underreported and repeatedly mentioned the incorrect amount of the foreign contributions received so far? The MHA has alleged that the opening balance of one account for 2008-2009, which was reported as nil in the auditor's certificate was actually Rs 6,60,31,783. 

This was a typographical error that was made in the hard copy submitted and we have admitted to it. However, both in the online statement made to the FCRA authorities and also in the hard copy of the closing statement, we have shown the correct amount of INR 6,60,31,783. This is a clear indication that we were not trying to conceal anything. This is another example of the MHA willfully misrepresenting facts.
